I got a Magnus Pro just before xmas last year, I was torn between it and the Flexispot. Like you say i find when I have a talking heavy meeting it makes a difference (to me) standing up instead of sitting down. I set myself a routine now to stand as much as possible in the morning and not sit down until after lunch and it's made more of a difference then I ever thought it would.
I really like your new desk. I noticed that you have a very long monitor, where did you buy it from? because it has this elongated shape, I am very curious about your choice, but above all to know the reason for your choice. maybe in the future I will also buy from the same Australian supplier (thanks to your link) the same desk. Congratulations on your choice.
Awesome video, totally belongs here! I made a sit/stand table last year. I couldn’t decide where to buy it from, so I built it myself instead 😅 Legs similar to (but not) the Flexispot ones, and a 180cm solid oak dining table top that I got direct from an oak warehouse. It’s fantastic to use, but even 180cm gets full fast with large monitors 😅🫣 And I made the mistake of not factoring in the weight of the oak (at 5cm thick it was about 40Kg 😅). Thankfully everything works.
@@LarsKlintTech Yeah, building myself kept the costs down to not much more than a good quality desk like you have - but I underestimated the work to put it together 😅 It was not 20 minutes 😅😂
You spent a good while making that intro, and it's appreciated 🤣
Haha, thanks mate. I had many ideas ... 😏
Have a look at wobbly stools, they're useful for perching in a different position when in meetings. They're quite fun if you get easily bored! 😂
They do look fun! Interesting idea 💡
Thanks mate, I'll see if that might work for me.
Love my flex spot desk. I put an IKEA butchers block top on (which is VERY heavy) and had no problems in 4yrs.
Cool! But why?
Another awesome video, enjoyed your helpers cameo.
Thanks Sam. He is the star for sure 😁

It really does make a difference. Good idea with your routine. I might copy that 😁

I am a big fan too. I really love the bamboo finish. The monitor is a 49" Lenovo and all the details are here: czcams.com/video/fWw6U9lp4i0/video.html

Thank you my friend. I think it belongs too 😁
Oak you say. How very fancy 🧐 must look amazing though.

@@StacyClouds Haha, it can go like that with bespoke desks. But you have a one of a kind now!
Great video! Next step is try to integrate it with home assistant?? 😁
Oh, I have thought of ways that could work. Auto raise at certain times of day, if I am in the office?
That would definitely help with not sitting to much during a working day!
