Quick info if anyone misunderstood: Historically, the Ottomans did not kill Skanderbeg nor managed to defeat him, Skanderbeg passed away from Malaria in 1468, Albania managed to still resist the Ottomans for another 11 years after that, but was annexed in 1479 after Venice, which had become "the defender of Albania" signed a treaty with the Ottomans granting them full control over Albania, this treaty convinced the garrison in Shkodra to finally let the Ottomans entry, marking the end of Albanian independence, though the city of Durrës in the Albanian coast remained as part of Venice until 1501.

In the early days, the Ottomans destroyed the Russians, but in the following years, the Ottomans became very weak and were defeated by the Russians. Please do not ignore the tremendous successes of the Ottomans against the Poles and the Russians when interpreting history.(Sokollu Mehmet Pasha annexed Poland to the Ottoman protectorate in 1575 and made it a state. In the 16th and 17th centuries, the Ottomans defeated the Russians, went deep into Russia and even burned Moscow[1])

Fun Fact: Vlad Dracula and his brother, Radu, were captives of the Ottomans when they were kids. During this time, Mehmed II (who was not yet the Emperor, only a prince at this time) took a certain liking to both of the boys and tried to force himself upon them.
Vlad escaped Mehmeds attempt by being a baddass and shanking the pedo-prince. Radu, unfortunately, was not as lucky. And after years of being in Ottoman captivity and exposed to Ottoman propoganda, Stockholm syndrome set in hard for Radu and he became Mehmeds favorite pet Janissary/femboy.
I don't think it's overly surprising why Vlad the Impaler really, *REALLY* hated the Ottomans, and Mehmed II in particular.
