- The opposition in Poland is urging the Foreign Ministry to respond to recent statements made by the Israeli Ambassador to Poland, Yacov Livne. To shed more light on this issue we are joined by Israel and Palestine correspondent from Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, Karolina Wójcicka.

TVP World is an excellent show; you always are fair and ask tough questions. It is always embarrassing and insulting when one's country is being criticized for basically doing what they believe they should be doing on the international stage. That being the case with the Israeli Ambassador to Poland saying things that should only be said in a private sphere, what we must remember is that Israel is experiencing an existential threat to its existence and the 7 October massacre's wounds are simply never going to heal. Therefore, it is unsurprising any mention of anything relating to Hamas or the Palestinians or Gaza is going to be met with over-blown rhetoric that is hollow in its factual content but volcanic in its emotional state. What Poland could do is re-state that Israel is at war and like your Ukrainian brothers and sisters there is a time for all things, but at this time to drag this bombastic statement across the world stage and openly scold the Israeli ambassador is probably something that would do more harm than good to Polish/Israeli relations.

@@CUBETechie Anti Israel propaganda is largely funded by Iran and executed by social media bot networks operated by Russia. Russia, China, and Iran all cooperate for many propaganda campaigns, pooling assets and with the overall shared goal of causing division and chaos in other countries. This is coordinated and extremely well funded, with billions of euros spent on these campaigns every year. It also goes far beyond social media into their various human networks that influence various groups to manipulate them with their own motives.
Putin himself funds many of these efforts, don't forget that he is one of the wealthiest individuals on the planet and he uses that to maintain power and influence, in addition to state funds that are blended with his own. Putin isn't that concerned about Israel but he is fully aware that anything related to Israel is a source of extreme controversy and division in Western countries and stirring that pot is useful for his own goals. Linking Ukraine aid with Israel aid for example in the US using his influence there to delay the passage of aid by many months.
I have no respect for the Israeli politicians!!! However I like the Israeli civilian population, they are very humble and friendly people:)
