Do you still have anyone in your life who you need to ask for forgiveness?
I am.
Sadhu sadhu ven nick ,its so true when you say rubbing someone the wrong way leads to karmic consequences, and for me - it really disturbs me to the extent that im unable to focus on my meditation.. but how does one deal with situation specially if im a care giver and there's No appreciation for anything that is done with the Utmost love n care...
Yes... but they are not open to seeing me. But I send them a meta prayer every day.
MY MY IT HAS BEEN 6 YEARS AND WHAT GROWTH YOU HAVE ACCOMPLISHED. YES I HAVE BEEN WATCHING ALL THIS TIME. AND I HAVE KEARNED MORE AND MORE HOW TO LIVE MY LIFE. YES I AM A Christian and attend a Christian church. Often you speak on something that my pastor covered. Thank you and Bless you!😊❤
Awww that’s beautiful my friend. I’m glad we can all learn from one another. Keep up the great work 😊
Hello Nick. Forgiving is not easy to do. But it is worth trying. The way you forgive as a monk is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you! Yeah it’s definitely a practice but definitely worth it 😊
It truly feels good to be forgiven 👏🏿 therefore I try to forgive others quickly 🙏🏿 and move forward 🥰 with love❣️
❤❤❤
Thank you Ven. Nick! Asking for forgiveness has been weighing on me lately. Thank you for the gentle reminder.
with love - Mel
Great reminder to me that we do & say things intentionally (gross) & unintentionally (subtle) that may offend others & may even cause them to create subtle negative karma because of our little unintentional acts. For these, I seek forgiveness from everyone. 🙏🏼
Family is not just blood and we can love people without wanting anything in return i always ask the people close to me to tell me when I am wrong or rude so I can learn to be a better person
That’s wonderful 😊
Thank you so much my buddhist friend.
3/2/24 - Saturday
Forgiveness takes courage to break the ego and to acknowledge my imperfection.
Life have thrown many curved balls and I have been very fortunate to be able to raise above it.
I am very grateful and thankful for family, friends and God for being my pillar.
Just recently I was serving a client which is going through extraordinary challenges in both his body and family. I cried when I found out that the client may become homeless in a few months time.
When I shared with another colleague of mine and ask why did I cried for this client, she was so wise to say, it could be I am very grateful for what I have hence to see someone suffer I felt sad.
Now I realise the precious sharing Teacher gave about Equanimity. Loving Kindness, compassion, empathy, equanimity.
Transference of merit to Teacher.
May Teacher be blessed with health and strength. May Teacher know that every video shared is a beacon to a dark mind seeking light.
Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu ❤

Thank you. I used to watch your videos all the time, and I made a lot of progress but the last couple of years have been very difficult for me. I gave up on Buddhism and I unsubscribed from your channel. And yet here I am. I needed to hear this. I’m sorry, vulnerable Nick. Sadhu🙏🏻
Thank you Nick. I came to this video after having a rough couple of days. I've had little motivation to practice this week, causing me to harm others through my speech and actions. This wisdom came at a perfect time for me to correct myself on the path on ask for their forgiveness. Thank you for the light you have given me. Sending metta from Georgia, US. 🙏

Ven Nick....I just watched a video of your Meet and Greet with Doctor Dan in Malibu. Have you returned to the monastic life after being a therapist to the rich and famous? I am curious about why you went back to the lay life, after ordaining, and why you returned? The lay life video helped me a lot...as I struggle to balance Buddhism with the demands of daily life. Thank you for your videos.
Blessings to everybody here. Thank you as always for the powerful messages. Do you have any videos about anxiety? Thank you in advance 🙏🏾🙏🏾
You’re welcome! And I’ll have to do a video about that topic 😊
@@nickkeomahavong01 thank you so much 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Hello bhante, the way you teach is very nice. I love it.
Aww thank you for your kind words😀
@@nickkeomahavong01 bhante, how old are you as a monk?
hello Venerable Nick, May you share insights on how to face abuse and violence, if one is a victim of such.. thank you for this video. =)
I am beyond forgiveness.
May you be peaceful my friend, take refuge in the teachings and sangha if it is available to you. You are not beyond self forgiveness and care. Yes, sometimes our brother or sister cannot forgive our actions, also develop compassion and understanding towards them, in time, we will all unfold.
❤️🌸🌺🌷🙏
How often do you have this official ceremony of asking for forgiveness? I guess, you do this more often than just once a year, don't you?
I know in Thailand people can ordain as a monk just for a few months or up to their whole life. Venerable Nick, do you have a timeframe for your monkhood, or are you in it for the duration?
For myself, I just say I’m ordaining “day by day.” It takes the pressure off of ourselves and we just take it one day at a time 😊
Namaste 🙏 Nick I am new to Buddhism ☸️ I am a Westerner living in Texas . As a Layperson Buddhist can I wear a Robe 👘 or what color should I wear ? Or do I need to be fully ordained ?
Also any recommendations where to buy a robe ?
In Theravada
Hey Nick. You once mentioned having emotional/mental issues because of a relationship that ended. Now you're a monk. How do you manage without sex ? Without being close to a woman, physically and emotionally?
Hello Nick Keomahavong I was wondering I’ve been meditating a little bit over a month now and I was wondering how long it is going to take for me to start seeing the benefits and changes in my body? Thanks
The mind will change, let go all desire then automatically your habits and view in life will change
Sadhu _ka
Is Ven. Michael still at the retreat with you?
Yes we typically travel together
Dear Nick, I am angry with myself because I made a lot of wrong decisions due to fear. How to forgive myself?
I just did a video called the 1 concept that changed my life. I think that video will be helpful for your situation.
@@nickkeomahavong01 🙏
My little brother health is very bad, I need your help. Please teach me a wish. is in the ICU

A Christian priest said that Buddhism made him a better priest.
He’s a monk so he has no worldly matters to worry about like us normal people do. How can we forgive people when there cruel and mean I don’t think it works in anybody’s personal life.
You gotta stay away from some people in this world. I think this whole sit and meditate thing is just a way to find acceptance in your own mind for what you have done in this life.
It takes practice but when we can pull ourselves back to see the situation clearly, it will be helpful.
Do you have a crystal ball to meditate with?
I personally do not, however, you can definitely use it 😊
Learned not kearned.
😊😊
Someone who has died.
Many buddhist monks are over pleasure of foos too much offering and too much activities that doesn't need to, only meditating, food begging ,alone time and spreading the truth is enough, today is too artificial and tok luxurious monks life, especially is Thailand, forest is better than big temple
