Namer doesn't use a merkava mk4 hull it uses a upgraded mk3 hull
This is incorrect. The initial Namer pilot model was an unmodified Mark 4 called the Namera. Although the Namer in-game has a weak powerpack, the later Namers have an identical power pack to the Merkava Mk.4
@@panzerlite8108 yup, not to mention that "upgraded Mk3 hull" is what a Mk4 variant is. Namer starts off as Mk4 and later is modified to be uparmoured APC based off of Mk4 hull.

Btw for people who want to know the armement of the EBRC its a 40mm with a rpm of 200 rounds per minute it can fire apfsds and the equivalent of the anti air shell the PUMA has. It Also has a french equivalent of the spike known has the AKERON MP it gets a superimpose launcher with 2 missiles inside and 2 more in the back of the vehicle.

@@xvphoenixvii5146 I mean it took them what 6 years since adding the last British IFV to add one that's stabilized and not completely garbage. Give them a couple more years might get to France eventually. But remember we got to get Germany and Russia 57 IFVs.
That's a super new vehicle. Entered service in 2022 so it's pretty recent.

I read somewhere that the first production line of the Namer was fitted with the Merkava Mk. 3 powerpacks so there are more of the more powerful engines for the Mk. 4's and the newer produced Namer's will receive the 1.500HP powerpacks. I dunno if that's true, but it sounds plausible. This gives me hope that we will receive another Namer at a higher BR. Maybe even with an APS.
I always appreciate the hangar run-through on the vehicle, a lot of things dont become obvious just through warching gameplay, esp if its a vehicle ive never used

Gotta say, against helicopters the spikes aren’t that bad. Got quite some heli kills with them :)
I never had a issue locking spikes the way you do, I can even lock a vehicle just from the antennas behind a hill 😂 I loved the spikes so much on the Vilkas that I grinded the Italy tree just to get the Freccia and KF41
The spikes seemed to do alright when they got a lock and the target didn't die before they got there. Much better than previous spike-launchers did from what I can tell.
For some reason the Spike missiles are pretty Ok after the Patch. I get alot of Kills If U Go for light Tanks or non era Armor tanks
Came to say I wonder if they tweaked the Spikes because I’ve seen a bunch of Namer videos and they sure seem to be doing OK lately. Certainly better than they were doing at first before everyone just stopped using them.
It because Namer SPIKE launcher arent tilted like on KF41 and Vilkas
So when engaged on close range combat, it will going on straight line compared to both mentioned, pretty impressive take tho (also Freccia did the same too)
The only thing that i concern is on the newer turreted Namer IFV (the one with APS) because it had the pop-out launcher same as the Vilkas and the KF41, therefore it will be tilted

@@rayhanramanda5303it's not the tilt. It's a buff the the lock on. Way more reliable and you barley need LOS now

i realized while playing the namer that the spikes have a very hard time hitting helicopters even if they are basically hovering. Thx gaijin for this update that didn't broke anything
The weird combination of Mk.3 engine, Mk.2 transmission and Mk.4 hull is accurate.

The Namer is saadly not realistic Displayed (like most israli tanks) itl they took a Mk4 removed the turret and reused the lossed weight in more amor. In wt that is saadly not the case.
And we dont talk about the accuracy of the SPIKE missiles
Would be very broken at its BR, I just ran into a pair of Namer 30s in my VRCC and DM33 is ineffective, killed one on a flat side shot then bounced off the others frontal plate and died. I respawned and hit him in the side at about a 70-75* angle and my dm33 failed to penetrate again.

the Merks Mk4 are also not correct in armor and in weight. a lot of israeli news sorces says its more like 80 tons. but oh well. it would be way to strong for gaijoobles so they nerfed it to shit. not even the 26 ton turret can withstand a 9.0 dart.. fuckin trash dev

It's missing the side and rear composite, the modifiers are WAY too low, the optics are 10x when they should be 26x, and the rear door is labeled as 30mm thick when you can see that it's bigger than the roof armor by more than double.
Those are just a view problems this vehicle has.

This thing is still horribly incorrect as the game portrays it. There's so much wrong with the model.
It's entirely lacking the internal side armor, the rear door armor is wrong, the zoom should be 26x at max instead of 10x, SLERA is still missing as a form of armor in-game, and the armor modifiers are still too low.
Remember, the UFP this thing uses is supposed to be identical to the Merkava 4, but it can't even stop 9.3 shells easily.

I don’t bother playing top tier I find it boring. I’d rather play up to around 7.7 and that’s about it. I like playing with World War II and Cold War vehicles just sticking around that area. It’s more fun games last longer. It’s not really a pointing click unlike top where whoever sees who first that’s it, is just point click
