- Cloudy skies with further outbreaks of rain and drizzle for much of northern and eastern England and feeling cool here. Across Northern Ireland and much of central and southern England and Wales, mostly dry with variable or large amounts of cloud with bright or sunny spells. Isolated showers are possible but warmer in the sunshine in the south - This is the Met Office UK Weather forecast for the morning of 14/07/24. Please can the Met Office do a deep dive into the low pressure situations which we’ve endured for well over a year now ? I’ve never know such a prolonged unsettled situation.
Isn't it due to the jet stream being so far south due to it slowing down due to the increased warming of the poles relative to the equator?

No cherries on trees much this year damsons plums on trees zero as it’s bro cold leaves falling already as nature thinks autumn already arrives my friend cleaning leaves of her lawns
Our pears are just not growing and already falling.
Smaller than a desert spoon ☹️
And our Silver Birches are starting to drop leaves 🍁
Th trees where I live are being to turn, they think it’s autumn already 😕

Solar panel work in all conditions. Some are so sensitive that they can use moonlight (albeit, at a much lower efficiency).
This early morning (Sun 14 July) i went outside to change the water in my bird bath , it was cold and damp and felt just like early November - we wait all winter for a warm summer and get this .

Beautiful sunny morning . Then I saw lots of that low cloud forming. It was blue sky in morning . Then I saw that cloud form (it was low) and it started to rise and then it changed it shape as it went high and then formed the hazy and high cloud. I think first time I understand how the low pressure system works. The air rises and then high cloud forms and then rain …. Was very interesting to observe.
What on earth is the “ central slice?” Let’s use agreed geographical nomenclature please.
