I really appreciate The Cubicle's honesty in their reviews. They're in the business of selling cubes so they could easily sugar coat these videos to sell more stuff. But instead they're honest, and that makes me want to keep buying products from them..... just not this product
sometimes I love some cube just because they are pretty even if they have bad turning, it would be great if you could talk about color scheme and surface finish into your reviews
@Eddy I am talking about the appearance/look of the cube, ok the 6 colors are always the same but you could appreciate a dark blue instead of a clear blue for exemple, or simply prefer some contrast red-orange, could you understand what I mean ?

i've used a sengso 3x3 cube for a long time, but then i bought a QiYi 3x3 magnetic one for 10$ ish, and its amazing i had no idea magnetic cubes where so much better
It's shengshou. Don't think it's too surprising. They specialize in bigger cubes. Their own mechanism are a testament for bigger cubes, tolerance rather than speedy. Their old speedcube are mostly copy of others cube rather than their own. Now as other has achieve lower and lower price point, they can't really copy anymore, as they can't lower the price than some of these budget cubes.

Honestly, this cube isn't awful. Once you glue down the magnets and lube it, it doesn't turn half bad. It has decent speed and has a unique crunchy and bumpy feel, definitely though not worth the time it takes to set up. Also the magnets become way weaker if you glue them down, so that is an issue if you have a more aggressive turning style

I recently got my hand on a gan 11m duo, and have realized that the click sound I keep on experiencing when turning is due to the magnets (I figured this out by watching this video). How do I get rid of this sound? Thanks
