I actually know a CZcamsr who really loves Mario to the point where he makes plush videos about the franchise (also Sonic). His name is MrMariofan12, and he also really doesn’t care for Illumination that much because of the Minions, but I hope he loves this movie as much as the rest of us! There’s actual Mario source material in this movie unlike it’s crappy 1990s predecessor, and that’s great! Nintendo and Illumination sure are “hitting the big time”!

This was different from the two sonic movie credits- but it's not so bad, cool graphics, killer music and credits to the cast of creators and the characters! All and all= a solid A+ ending! :)
Yeah I kinda liked it too you know when the credits showed Jack Black was the voice actor for bowser that was a surprise surprising right? I mean in other animated characters he voice acted as he sounds like he has a taste for anything Super cool or as he would put it “A voice with Pure Awesomeness” and bowser sounded nothing like Jack black plus for the president and former president not to mention it was mentioned he passed away in 2015 thought it was clever to put the presidents with the Super Star and interesting too
They might do that in the sequel's credits.

And the galaxy theme was always amazing and this orchestra just nailed it.
The saddest part is that this is Charles Martinet final project for the Mario franchise. Thanks cor everything Charles wish you the best of luck and RIP Satori Itawa

This movie was great even though it has a few flaw’s it’s still a pretty good movie.
All movies have flaws, so its good regardless.
Some parts feel a bit rushed to me. But I give this movie a solid 9/10 for its family friendly story and ASTOUNDING music

That Gusty Garden Galaxy bit hit like a truck
Gusty Garden Galaxy was so good to hear in this movie.
Lumalee goes hard on that sax.
I’m glad that this movie was nominated for “Best Animated Feature” and became a billion-dollar box office runaway success. It clearly deserves that because it’s faithful to the source material. (Unlike other video game adaptations…) I loved it.
It might also be because Nintendo themselves helped out in making it too, ensuring that the source material would be truly honoured. You can actually see some Nintendo employees in the credits sequence, and even a dedication to Satoru Iwata, the president during Nintendo’s best era.

Has anyone ever noticed how the credit animations fit in so beautifully with the actual people credited? Just some examples:
Co directors en executive producers: a group of bullet bills
Co producer: ie financial aspects, show coins
Editor: chain chomps chopping away (as if cutting a movie)
Music and themes: a piano
Computer graphics supervisors: a NES game controller
Then the overall teams get to be the fish and squids in the sea
Everything related to the animation are all enemy characters
Modelling and set design: an actual set from the movie
Stereo sound: two rotating balls
Pipeline, techology and tech: various coloured pipes
Just some examples. It's so nicely done.
