My wife introduced me to Merrell shoes. My first pair is still going strong and I loved them so much i decided to buy another pair for a future hiking trip. Comfortable right out of the box. The best!
My first pair of Merrell Moab II GTX shoes. I take a size 9 UK in shoes went for a size 10 for these as my Saloman XA PRO 3D v8 are UK 10. Swapped the laces for "Lock Laces" vast improvement on putting them on. Very comfortable trying them on at home (had to order online as no shops open)
Just received mine today. Can't wait till the spring doing a 153 mile trek. Will be breaking them in before then. They feel great. Had a pair of New balance for ten years and they were fantastic but gone into retirement. Just hope these Merrells live up to expectations.
Just bought myself 2 pairs of MOAB 2s. One is the "waterproof" version and the other is the "ventilator" version. I did have to purchase about 1 size larger than I usually wear in a shoe. But, I have no complaints.
i'm worried that the US government will either sue Merrell for copy right infringement of the name "MOAB", or drop an actual MOAB on your headquarter. lol
I love the Merrell Moab Edge, I review them on my channel. I bought a pair and tested them straight from the box on a 15 mile hike up Lone Peak in Utah.
I wore them in the mountains (8500 ft+) on rugged terrain and they were great. Comfortable even after hours of hiking, breathable, flexible, sensational grip, you name it. Highly recommended for any spring or summer hike up in the mountains
These shoes look just like the basic shoes they give people from the doctors to correct height differences between legs. Absolutely bulky and ugly. The merrell "mountain kicks" had style. These are.. Not even trying. Just ugly af.
The world needs to stop this cruel killing of animals to suit a lifestyle thats not nessarry. With shoes its the leather, dyes, and adhesives from animals that is inhumane and cruel. There are vegan options that are pushing the forefront and excellent, with no animals slaughterd.

Good for walking in park,but not for mountains.

Miss the MOAB, can't stand the 2, and all the replacements I have looked for in the Merril lineup have fallen apart WAY to early.
