For those complaining about the rider filming instead of getting her horse out of the sand... How do you know this rider has not already called for help and is waiting for others to arrive? There's literally nothing this rider can do without help. The best thing is to not panic and keep the horse calm until help arrives.

She’s probably waiting on help… so nothing else she can do,, it’s quicksand if she tried to dig her horse out both of them would keep sinking. The horse being calm and not moving kept it from sinking any further so her filming literally does not matter dude 😂

They probably waited for a while till help (firefighters, vet) arrived to get the horse out safely of the quicksand hole. A quick video also could help keep her mind from panicking about the situation by distracting her as well as give emergency responders a closer view of what's going on as they probably wouldn't be able to get very close

I’ve never been in this situation but, wouldn’t you try to remove the saddle and girth? Maybe undo his noseband for comfort? I don’t know. It’s not abuse I’m just thinking what I’d do
