This is SO canon. She's got so much BDE!
I'm pretty sure people have guessed that Sister was his mom and Papa Nihil was dad. Things didn't 'work out' and she apparently hid the fact that the Cardinal was his son. If that is what happened, the bloodline would remain intact.. Or something like that. After all, she walked out on him in the KTGG video (after putting a cig out on that inconsiderate skanks face)..
And at first I wasn't crazy about this chapter vid as compared to older ones until I realized the TF p.t. barnum-like genius of it.. it's a freaking video call!! Lolol.. other bands drop truckloads of money to promote themselves and it doesn't work half as well. This is one of the many reasons I love ghost.. since the beginning they were like, 'make it look awesome with duct tape and glue if you have to' ... And it did...
No frills chapter vids that still come across as cool is a great way to keep unwanted costs down because TF and/or his management understand the financial chaos of being a musical act and how there are much more imperative things that have to be paid for. Also, chapter vids are something just about every other band DOESNT do. I consider it a treat for the fans, I'm glad they still do it, and this one was a long time coming.

Did you see the music video for Kiss the Goat? It was previously implied.
She is still not telling him though. But this confirmed it. Nihil and sister spawned Copia. Sister has hid it from both her son and Nihil.
She knows how special he is (it's her son) but Nihil never understood what was so special about this random young dude who was "not part of the blood line".
These chapters have essentially been not only origin of Cardinal copia/Shi but sister, Nihil and the band itself.
The EP of 7inches of satanic panic being a "lost/rediscovered" reissue of their Nihil fronted 70s days.
This is where sister became pregnant with her son, Nihil became unfaithful so she left. Only to return later, insist the new Papa's all had flaws and issues. Papa 1 was way too old. Papa 2 was too wild (see Papaganda part 1 and 2 on Noisey CZcams channel) and 3...literally had nothing wrong with him like previous 2...but still not "good enough", "not young enough" and "too full of himself".

This has been what has got me into Ghost finally. Outside looking in wondered "why yet another new singer for latest album?" Looked into band and fell in love by the time Rats was released. I'm late I know.
I get it now. It's silly and tongue in cheek while being hilarious with genuinely great music playing off tropes of moral rock/metal panics of 80s and 90s.
Making excellent music with a band "kayefabe" like a wrestler who never breaks character. Lawsuit ruined that but he has dug deeper into making lore for the band and it's "multiple" singers.
Tobias Forge is quite literally...A rock, comedy and marketing genius.
