Saints fan here. The Texans have shown that although they don't have the most talent in the league they do play with the most swag and confidence hence why they're always losing close games with good teams. I'm so glad they finally got the win they deserve and hope they get better in the future.

The lineman chucking Willis into the endzone was beautiful.
Did you notice that he stood there in the end zone expecting a little love from his teammates, but everybody ran and congratulated the running back instead. Big linemen get little love.

Not much to cheer for as a Texans fan but I will admit our defense has really played their ass off these past few weeks. Pitre Harris Maliek Collins those boys deserve that hard fought win. When we change the coaching staff I hope those guys can play in meaningful football games next year.
Davis Mills listen he not the guy but that was the best drive he had his whole career. He probably going to be either a low end starter or a high end backup QB but that’s ok backup QBs have long careers in the nfl. For now he just needs to get better so he can be our QB2 next year.

The way Texans been playing recently, it has me excited for next season. They look like they finally found a spark to be a winning team and with a new QB next season will be a major upgrade but I'm starting to like Davis Mills, he's showing new things we haven't seen from him, he looks more comfortable in the game now. Maybe we can trade him so he can be a starter for a team that needs a QB like Panthers.
I've always been a die-hard Houston fan since the 70s. When the Oilers moved to Tennessee I was still a die-hard Oiler fan until they changed their name in '99. Since 2002 I've been a die-hard Texans fan. 3 weeks ago when the Texans still only had one win, I said "To hell with the this. I'm going back to pulling for the former Oilers". The Titans were 7-5 at the time. The Texans sure picked a fine time to win their 2nd game!

Here is my take on these Texans being a native Texan. This team has been representing the city of Houston for over twenty years now and for over twenty years with the exception of maybe a few seasons it has done absolutely nothing. Even on the radio all I keep hearing from these sports DJs is "Embrace the suck" which means nada to me because the Texans have been sucking for way too long and fans have embraced their sucking for way too long. How about this for a good trade-off... If the organization expects for fans to continue supporting this pitiful team then stop charging them an arm and a leg for tickets, merchandise, and stadium food. That sounds fair to me.

This Titans group will be remembered, more than anything, as what happens when you regularly go into seasons with a QB that you know isn’t a franchise QB yet aren’t bad enough to rebuild but not good enough to be a legitimate SB contender.

Imo the rule should be that it doesn't count as a TD if you recover the ball in the endzone after a fumble, even if it wasn't intentional.
That would keep everything straightforward and teams shouldn't be rewarded for a major mistake like a fumble.

Texans been playing with effort. They have some great picks ahead and hopefully they can hit on those to put a good squad together. That along with the development of the young players they already have if they keep improving could be good.

The single most Texans way to end this season right now would be to win a bunch of meaningless games, lose out on 1.1 and Bryce Young, and convince McNair that the coaching staff finally has things figured out, meaning a year 2 of Lovie and Pep, while also having Davis Mills start for another year.
It would be a masterclass in fan frustration and I feel like Texans fans need to be prepared for it.

Sure did. Should've been 1st and goal on the one. A game can't end on a defensive penalty so it would've been our ball to run one play with :00 time on the clock. I'm not too upset. If we played like this today at home we don't deserve to host a playoff game. We'd just get historically embarrassed to top off an already clusterfick of a season.

We need a new OC! Just look at these routes so many cross routes making it so obvious with all the shotgun plays receivers not getting open enough bcuz they keep running across each other. Need more disguise and trick plays and should be tailoring the offense to fit Malik’s play-style not tryna make him a QB style that doesn’t fit him. Even with all the injuries we have the Defense still performs above and beyond each week.

As a titans fan texans did s great job this game but Malik Willis showed some poor decision making just like the first interception but the final 3 plays we could see heart from Willis avoiding 2 defenders to complete the pass that 2nd interception is more a Hail Mary so I’ll give it to him he did alright this game

@@dasdas7752 he's a rookie and only his second starting game give him a break... you see those two plays where he almost got sacked but stood up and still managed to get the ball pass the first down.... don't know if you can say the same about J.Fields,he fragile
