    Hi Amer. Nice video! Q: I run a one watt lightbulb 24/7 in my shed from a small battery and solar array. If I add the photosensor will Ithe light actually need more than 24w per day?

    • @akhaqan
      @akhaqan  Před měsícem +1

      Thanks. Interesting question. Most off the shelf photocells need 110 or 220 volts to run, I believe I have seen some which can be installed in a series without a power supply for low volt circuits of less than 12v. Obviously these will not be 100% efficient so some power loss will be expected, maybe 0.5 watt or less. So you have to read the specs of the photocell to really know how much power will it require to operate but just guessing I think you can install in series and the savings in power of not operating during the day will offset any additional power required for the photocell.

      The black is the live that connect straight to the powers … the red should connect to the black from your light… the light normally has 2 wire which is black and white ( white Is the common) how ever you’re gunna connect a next white The white and from the light and the photo sell which will connect the power with the black from the photo cell .. so basically you will end up with live and neutral hope you understand English is not my first language

    Why would the light not go out when daylight come on. This is the second straight time this has happened. The present photocell swithch was installed about 18 months ago. It operates a post lamp about 40 feet away that gives some illumination to the property. There is nothing blocking the photo cell unit.

    If Boeing change wiring to these type of control signal then less leakage because the light enclosed inside pvc tube then no one can read or interfere pit just like fiber optic but cheaper and much lighter than both fiber optics or regular wiring because one of these inside a tube can replace 20-50 kg of control wire bundle

    White wires hooked together from the light and the house. Black hooks to the house and red hooks to the light.

    • @akhaqan
      @akhaqan  Před 4 měsíci

      Correct and simplified. Black (incoming power from house) and red (outgoing power to the light).

  • @e.l.abusaid2500
    @e.l.abusaid2500 Před 3 měsíci

    So, I think your saying the red and black wire both share (connected to the incoming black wire) :)

    • @akhaqan
      @akhaqan  Před 3 měsíci

      No. The black wire is connected to the Live power coming from the house, it will ultimately go to the bulb after passing through the photocell. Once it passes through the photocell, it becomes the red wire. The photocell connects or disconnects the black & red wire.

    We jus put new lights up at the back of our church building! (Had to test the photo-cell out & by-pass!)….. the problem turned out to be the commercial lights with starters in them!?
    Removed & installed standard flood light types!
    Brighter & more reliable! Wired photo cell back into the circuit with the light timer! Bye Felicia!

    • @akhaqan

    I have never seen anyone explain how to wire them up and then they work. Every one is a liar. They can't make it work because they don't show it working in real time by covering the sensor. It's all a scam. NO one knows what they are doing.

    • @akhaqan
      @akhaqan  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Chill my friend, someone above commented and simplified further: White wires hooked together from the light and the house. Black hooks to the house and red hooks to the light. So Black (is incoming power from house) and red (outgoing power to the light). I hope it's clear now. This assumes your house wiring is done as per code.
