This movie, and especially Rob in this movie, completely changed the way I view actors and movies. This movie sucked me in and had me on the edge of my seat through the whole thing!

This movie hit hard for me in so many ways
Having a daughter with delayed challenges is very difficult when you're older, so I understood why grandma needed to place Nick.
My biggest fear. Connie reminded me too much of me. He thought fast on his feet and knew exactly how to manipulate a situation.
I saw so much good in Connie but he couldn't do good appropriately, most likely hi circumstances in life.
I wanted Connie to wind up with Nick both doing really well like in a Hallmark movie..but I think they ended it exactly as should be.
This was a dark realistic movie that taught the audience alot of things. Each will go away with their own self realizations and lessons.
Excellent job by all excellent actors. Rob was iconic..best role to date and Benny...wow..I thought he was deaf and challenged. That's great acting. Rob was so convincing..it took 30 min in to realize Connie was him.
The cameras were fabulous with every angle exactly how it should be and the score throughout was perfect. Iggy Pop at the end...wow.
One of the best movies I've seen in a long time though. This and Ingrid Goes West should be the two movies everyone are talking about right now.
Just finished this movie, really glad this Q&A is here so I can debrief like this. Amazing film, was wiping away tears during the credits. The definition of a bittersweet ending.
When they show the crowd the amount of people on their phones is insane lol people are so fucked up and rude.
Absolutely fantastic interview. Extremely insightful, particularly in regard to their grafting of Benny's previously invented character onto the script and the lengths that they went to mask exposition.
Anyone notice that everyone in the crowd is just sitting on their phone?

Time flies, I was actually sitting in the audience in this Q&A that day, hard to imagine so many ppl could sit in one room so closely in the past.
I wanted to see " Good Times ' could never find it the Theatre . Where I live Jarrettsville Maryland.
