As I am not currently in the market I can only attest that I do have a Heys bag that has been heavily used to transport tech and has held up for years. They do make quality budget products!
There seems to be a problem with the link; it won't load.
It bothers me that all these companies know that standard carryon size is 22x14x9 and then consistently insist on making them either too wide, too tall or too deep. It's fortunate that some airlines don't look too closely
The standard is 45 linear inches for airlines, so it’s fine.
Despite the linear inches rule, i wonder if it fits into the "sizers" at the airports.

Heys is a Canadian brand, and this luggage actually has the perfect dimensions for air canada (21.5x15x9) as well as European carriers. They also have other carry-on options that will fit the dimensions you mentioned.

I got this suitcase in black (and got to use your code - THANK YOU). Traveled via Delta for two trips (a larger plane and smaller connection plane). Fit perfectly for both in the overhead bin. Compression was ehhh (I also had compression packing cubes). Hated that it caught some scratches the one time it had to be checked. Overall Love the sturdiness, stability and mobility (wheels are chefs kiss) of this carryon suitcase.
PS: shipping to NYC was 3 business days (ordered Monday delivered on Thursday)
Also note - I put my Beis mini weekender on top and the handle of this bag fit great through that trolley sleeve
I was SO TORN between this exact bag and the Earth Tones Moss bag. I ultimately went for the Earth Tones bag but man I really liked this one.
At least they are similar! You can’t go wrong with either!

I bought the Heys Earth Tones in Dec after watching your reviews. It actually seems very similar inside to this bag. Are there any differences? It's the moss colour for me that makes me so happy!

I’m so torn between this bag (or maybe the gorgeous green Earth Tones one you reviewed) or the Quince 20” expandable. Would you recommend one brand over the other? They all look great but is the Quince slightly too big for European airlines? Thanks!
They are about the same size. Quince be lighter and it will have a compression pad. I’m actually traveling with the Heys airlite right now and I took a compression pad out of one of my other bags!
It’s a beautiful bag. I didn’t like the two little pockets on the compression side. Also that little flap with the zipper is in a lot of luggage. I’m with you I would not use that. If filled it would take up precious space. I do like the protected corners.
I never use inside pockets! I don’t know what people use them for honestly! Unless they have some sneaky secret stuff!
Is this similar to the Quince 21 inch? Is it ok for international travel or too large?
It’s perfect for international travel. It’s similar in size but the heys is a tad smaller next to it
Do you prefer this over the Quince expandable?
It’s hard to say. The quince has a compression pad which almost always puts bags in front of the line. But the heys feels stronger

Is the size of zen can fit air canada sizer? Since its 22in long (Air Canada max length is 21.5in) I'm worried
All of their luggage fits in the Air Canada bin!
