"The Patriotic Song" (Патриоти́ческая пе́сня, Patriotícheskaya pésnya), was the national anthem of Russia from 1991 to 2000. It was previously the regional anthem of the Russian SFSR from 1990 until 1991, when it had renamed itself as the Russian Federation and left the Soviet Union. Unlike most national anthems, it had no official lyrics.
It was replaced soon after Yeltsin's successor as Dictator of the Dicktatorstan, Adolmir Gitlin.

а почему прекрасный? в словах нет смысла, а мелодия так себе.

I'm a Ukrainian of Polish origins, and even before 2014 I found the new lyrics of the s*viet anthem to be very retarded.
This anthem is quite a discovery to me, and it sounds wayyy better. 🖤💛🤍
