2017 Bandsaw Box Challenge

I made a very rustic bandsaw box for the 2017 Bandsaw Box Challenge hosted by David Jones of Portal Woodworks. Although I owned a bandsaw for many years I've never made a bandsaw box so this was a good time for me to try one. I printed out a pattern I scaled of a Ying Yang bandsaw box but I didn't think the log that I was using would be able to hold together with some of the thin walls. So I decided just to wing it. This log was on the pile near my fire pit a while back and I had taken it into my shop thinking I might be able to turn something from it. As you can see it is kind of punky and full of worm holes.
