That kid’s going places… thanks to the Kid Rig
Lmao
I just showed this to my occupational therapist and we agreed it's off the hook! I'm working hard on learning to walk again after my stroke, but if I was going to be confined to a wheelchair long term I would want one of these desperately. I intend to walk, not roll out of this rehabilitation center. I need to show you the modified vice device my friend made so I can crochet one handed. It has revolutionized my post-stroke paralyzed life to be able to do some crafting again. I live to make things, so losing use of my dominant hand was terrible beyond words. I have started drawing some with my right hand, but most crafts need both hands. I attempted an origami butterfly with one hand, but I got stuck on the details. The vice is great to hold the crochet hook still, but it has some limitations I will need to get used to. It is as good as it can be short of an actual hand. I appreciate it 100000 percent. It is wonderful. I wish I knew how to show you.
🤣🤣
not upstairs though

Man....The Kid Rig is a GAME CHANGER for so many kids! 👏
Thank you Dan! We hope so!
No doubt!!! :) :) :)
thanks zach
It's literally life changer
@@JerryRigEverything But I would recommend hydraulic disc brakes with adjustable brake levers. Kids hands have problems gripping adult size levers and hydraulic brakes require less pulling force.
the part where you tell him "Ok, you're a CZcamsr now. You have a camera on you." And without a second thought he takes it away like an absolute pro 😆
Well, there was like 6 cuts in that clip and most likely rehearsed with a few takes. Although, definitely a pro

Just finished a long, but good, day at work and sat down to watch this. Still crying happy tears as I type this. You guys are the best!
Well done supporting this product! It's a fantastic piece of equipment for people who need it. The kid looks as though he is loving life! ❤️
Made me cry as well!! Specially when Cole realised that it is his now. 😂
Thank you!!!
so generous good on you

That little kid is so sincere and funny. Someone who can make friends with anyone.
❤️❤️❤️
Kids are generally very sincere. Their pureness should be inspiring for us adults!

I don’t normally bother commenting on youtube videos, but I just want to say - well done to you mate, the pure joy on Cole’s face would be worth every second of effort thats gone into developing this. You do some pretty neat things, but this has got to be right up there with one of the best. Good on you!
Thank you!

I want one soooo bad. I could "walk" my dogs. Go to events. Enjoy nature. How does it do on sand at the beach 🏖️? Do you sell these, how much if so?
@@brownbrown8344 due to how the weight is distributed on all four tires, and the thickness of the tires, it would do pretty well on things like snow. It would have a slightly harder time on sand, but I don't think it would be too much of an issue. Make sure to have a way to get help if you do get stuck though, and go for it💜

Thanks for answering. 👍

That kid is a rolling vacation, man! He could bring a smile to anyone's face, and he's such a character!

Your love for Cambry has turned into a passion to help those in need, Zach! Keep killing it, man!
I agree
Yeah
This is why usability tests are important. The very first thing he asked was "where's the horn?", and Zach couldn't believe they didn't already have those 😆 2:39. As an engineer, I experience this all the time. Customers are the most valuable feedback givers.

Thanks for watching 💙💙☝️
Tele_gram me I have a surprise packages🎁for you
keep up the good work through your "Not a Wheelchair- " business Zack and Cambry.
I’m a wheelchair user based in the UK. My pet peeve is the cost of wheelchairs so you have no idea how impressed that you have created this product and bought it to market. As a child I would have given anything to have had a device like this (I’m now 48). I hope that this is the massive success that it truly deserves to be. If you ever consider selling in the uk I know this would be a huge hit. I hope there is comes to the UK market, if it does I would be honoured to be involved in some way. Thank you for making this. It is going to give so many people the independence that we all deserve. Well done.
Similar to you I hope this comes to the UK. My grandson would totally love this!!!
It doesnt look too hard to build yourself either. Maybe they will some day make their plans open source or something. So people over the world can start building and selling these.
KMX makes recumbent pedal tricycles for kids and AFIK they sell by mail to anywhere. Would still an e-bike kit and diy foot rest to approximate the Kid rig.
Depending on how comfortable you feel handling tools and spending a many hours online researching parts, this isn't that hard to build yourself. I've recently jumped into the deep end, bought a welder and built a cargo bike to transport my son to school without any prior experience in fabrication/bike construction. (my son has a mental and physical disability and the other option would have been the car, which is just stupid on days that have tolerable weather. "Real" cargo bikes are stupid expensive).
The "Rig" looks like a simple frame made from square mild steel tubing, a standard e-bike hub motor, battery and control system, as well as assorted bike parts. The most complicated part to replicate is probably the steering mechanism. Not to take anything away from Jerry/Cambry for creating this - the idea is brilliant and the executing looks fantastic - but you yourself or a friend with the appetite to get into this could probably build this or something similar at about the same cost, including basic welding equipment, not counting labour. And feeling comfortable with welding opens up many new ways to build/fix things.
If Zack is reading this, maybe instead of selling it fully assembled, it's possible to ship all the parts disassembled and be assembled by the end-user or a local bike shop that could help them put it together? It could possibly lower the cost of manufacture as there isn't a full on assembly cost but the cost to package the parts and to ship it. Maybe it could be something to keep in mind.
I'm calling it now, most wholesome video of 2023. This was so beautiful to watch. You and Cambry are literally changing lives for the better ❤️
What a good way to start this year.
It got me emotional
❤️❤️❤️
Dude... that's the coolest kid ever.
So great to see the little man happy
❤️❤️❤️
Why are you so wholesome dude? I can't believe I used to just watch this guy tear phones apart and now he's out here changing the world. Inspiring.
❤️❤️❤️
It's probably been so long since that kid got to experience a thrill like that, and a bigger sense of freedom. This was beautiful. Thank you for caring, Zach ❤️
❤️❤️❤️
Did anyone else tear up at the last minute at the video? Your kindness, his excitement, and just everything was/is really touching!
Well done Zack and Cambrie!
I've watched this video 3 times now. I watched it the additional 2 times to watch with other people. It's NOT possible for you to find a better spokesperson for the Kid Rig! This is awesome!!!
Thank you! I'll let him know!
Thanks!🙂
Absolutely nothing in the world better than bringing some joy into a kid's life. Bless you, Zach.
Cole is a natural on camera 😂 you guys are incredible; I love how many kids you're gonna help out with this!
“You guys talk too much, let’s get started” lmao Iconic every intro needs him. 🤣
0:57 "I was sweating my body off" Oh my god, he's so precious! I love it
That intro was your BEST EVER
For future development it might be an idea to have almost a 'child lock' on the power output settings, so a parent has the ability to lock it in to the lower setting should they want to for safety reasons like the child has balance issues (or thinks they're Evil Kinevil)
Would also look into fitting brake levers from a children's bike as opposed to an adults one, noticing in the video when braking he had to take his hands off the bars to get over them and squeeze wouldn't add any cost but could allow a little bit more control for the smaller hands.. keep up the good work guys!
also depending on the braking force required hydraulic disk brakes might make sense here.
Kids rig definitely requires more safety features. I can imagine many things that could be improved, but they also would significantly raise the cost. Maybe chain cover will be nice, to improve durability, since its a little off-road
@@SimonBauer7 this will drive the price even higher. They have 500 w motor, they can have it go in reverse for breaking
@@mus_xr4653 at cheap durable hydraulic Shimano brake costs under 50 dollars aftermarket, i thinks that's worth every penny. It's a great product but i also had the the feeling that the kid struggles to brake.
@JerryRig keep up the good work!

Cool kid, he's very lucky to have friends like you. Your heart is in the right place.

Bro all I can say is this video make me emotional. I am 47, I suffered a spinal cord injury at birth and have been in a wheelchair all my life. I am now married have an amazing 10 year old son but have never had the privilege to ride a bike or anything like notawheelchair. This is going to change lives for kids and families. I too plan on getting one for myself and spending some time riding with my son. Thank you guys so much for what you do.
❤❤❤
"CAN I PET YOUR DOOOOOG" love that little dude's energy.
Dude, with a lot of my family in a wheelchair what you are doing brings tears into my eyes. Awesome job.
This is the most charismatic kid I've ever seen. What a great human.

*"I was sweating my body off"* 😂😂
I have a few kids in mind that would love one of these! Excellent work on the new product.
Bring em over for a test ride! We have some demo units at the shop in Orem.
Watching him light up when he hit the snow actually brought tears to my eyes.
You two are what actually gives me faith in humanity.

His spirit is si kind with love like me wish I could hug him😊❤

This is my favorite video in this series, keep up the good work! I am excited to see these in my local community!
cambry is so sweet for taking that boy under her wing. i'm sure it's hard for him to find role models with his same impairment, and she is perfect for it!
plus at the end she did a fantastic job showcasing the (not) wheelchairs 😂
the happiness on that kid's face.. God bless you both.
I am in tears of massive joy, by seeing all the non-profit projects by Zack. From the massive Library in Kenya, to building school in Africa to multiple ways of helping people with disabilities from NotAWheelChair and many more.
It makes me wonder how humble, generous and kind is Zack. Not even the God can know. Even God could be jealous of his helping hands.
I just wish those billionaires with massive fortune could do something transparent like this in the name of donation.
The world needs more people like Zack and Cambry!! You two are not only incredible in all that you do to help people, but you are so humble and a real inspiration. Thank you 🙂
Cole is a natural lol, your not a wheel chair project has always been so heart warming, knowing kids with disabilities have something like this to let them go on so many adventures brings a tear to my eye
"Hi !!!! ...Can I pat your dog?!"
That kid is my kind of people! ❤️
❤🐶❤
it brought tears to my eyes how happy it made him! this is awesome!
❤❤❤
We loved seeing Cole so happy. He is a good friend of our daughter Annika. We are hoping to get our own soon so they can go all over together.
I can’t wait for the kids to get together!! They are going to have a blast!!!!
If you have a fundraiser going, my kiddos and I would live to throw in a few. As a nurse who has worked with the disabled for over 20 years (that makes me feel so old) I have encountered so many kids who really could have benefited from something like this. Even medical tricycles are priced more than this and take MONTHS and MONTHS to get approval, if ever.
@@ClearwaterKB A fundraiser is a great idea! I think Cole would love to help other kids that can’t afford one, get a Kid Rig! We will get on that!! I will share info about it has soon as I have more information. @colelovinglife8525
@@joannspencer1301 awesome, looking forward to it!
1 minute into the video and I already love that awesome kiddo with my whole heart. Let him know the internet loves him and thinks he's the absolute best :)
Also, he's not much older than my son, which makes it so much more relatable. :)
You guys are incredible -- We will definitely be looking to buy one for our son, Noah, who's 7 and has been in a wheelchair since he was 1 and a half. Love from Canada!
He will love it!!
I Love you guys for helping out the disable in NEED?! You will be a blessing to those in need, l tell you? Keep moving forward with the innovations, for all disable people in need?❤❤❤
I go running around that lake all the time. I'll have to watch out for Cole now as he's ripping around the lake on his Kid Rig. Very cool.
"CAMBRYYYYY" the kids adorable 🥹
Oh man he's literally doing one of my favorites quotes from Christopher Reeve.
"You gotta give more than you take"
Your parents raised a great man with morals and values. And you found a woman with the same principles. You two are great human beings.
Thanks Zack and Cambrie.
God bless you, your family and beloved ones.
You guys are awesome. I just came across your videos and love everything you do, your projects in Africa, your goal to provide better mobility for those who are normally rather restricted. Keep up the good work!
so heart-warming to see a young child with a disability having so much fun. Thanks for all you do.
❤️❤️❤️
The kid did the exact same thing as Cambry did when she first tried the test e-bike. Got off the sidewalk and went off-road, because they were limited before then. Such a simple pleasure to experience for both of them. Great work on the kid rig.
And both wanted to go faster. Had a need for speed.
❤️❤️❤️
This is one of the most wholesome, heartwarming things I've watched in a long time. That little dude is awesome. Clearly very happy with his rig! Keep up to amazing work Zach & Co! Rock (and roll) on! 🤘🏼
Your generosity and compassion has got me misty eyed. You two are the greatest.
“Well there’s still more fun to be comin’” -Cole
What a great mantra in which to rule your life!! Love this so much!
From testing smartphones too building an electric Hummer too making affordable weelchairs, what an amazing journey!! Thanks for trying to make the word a better place!
Can you find any other content more wholesome and heartwarming than this? I don’t think so.
You both are totally awesome, incredible and kind humans. If we had more people like you both in this world, society would be in much better shape. ❤

I wish I had half the excitement and joyful attitude as this kid. I admire him.
I teared up at his joy. That was awesome.
Cambry and Zach, great job on this work.
Zack you are such a kind, friendly and great person..!
This is one of the best videos I have ever seen. And the joy it brings kids (and us viewers) is indescribable! Thank you!!!
This brought a tear to my eye.. you guys are really great human beings and an inspiration to all to be better.
I really needed that seeing how happy that little Cole was when you gave that to him and he gave you a hug put a smile on my face from ear-to-ear
0:19 "You guys talk too much, let's get started"
One second on the screen, and he's already my favorite.
❤❤❤
I'm glad it uses a lot of bike parts. My wife and I were about to leave Canada to come to New Zealand (we're here now) and the day before we left the tire on her manual wheelchair blew out. Couldn't find a replacement inner tube anywhere because all wheelchair suppliers were closed for New Years Eve. No bicycle tires matched, so in a pinch we were force to get one the wrong size and stuff it in as a temporary fix, because no bike tires came in that size.
Thank you for starting our day with this energy and generosity! ❤
This is not a cheap option for a lot of families who need such a special equipment for their loved once. But it is so much cheaper than medical specific machines. Supporting those who need it the most( in my opinion kids for sure) is so important. Kids need to be kids. Not talking about what is not possible to do, but what is possible to do. I encourage everyone to support this when possible.
This video just made my week and made me cry. Cole you are amazing! Never loose your beautiful energy! ❤
It's great just seeing a kid being a kid, not only can he go riding bikes with his peers but be the coolest kid in the neighborhood 😎 I would have been so jelly seeing this kid ride as kid, The Kid Rig ™️.

I think that one of the coolest things of the Not a Wheelchair is that this accessibility device is actually cool. I mean, you can paint flames on a regular wheel chair and all. But I don’t think that many people who don’t need the wheel chair will want one. But I bet that a lot of people would love to ride on those. Kids will be jealous of him for sure!
