Have the great privilege a few years ago,.of seen the Rascals at the Sunland Park Racetrack and Casino in New Mexico. Felix Cavaliere autographed a dollar bill, which i still have. Glad to see that they are still going strong.

On this day in 1967 {September 10th} the Young Rascals performed "Groovin'" on the CBS-TV program 'The Ed Sullivan Show'...
Five months earlier on April 22nd it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; & on May 20th it peaked at #1 {for 4 weeks} & spent 13 weeks on the Top 100...
And on May 27, 1967 it reached #1 {for 1 week} on the Canadian RPM Singles chart...
Happily all four original members are still with us; Eddie Brigati {67}, Felix Cavaliere {70}, Gene Cornish {69}, & Dino Danelli {69}
