Main goal of these video concept ideas:
My main goal for these kind of videos is to be as creative as possible!
Let me explain:
- Firstly, my very first channel Mixeli (But also my latest one Volipok) post tons of Gameplays from Every Generation (Which once again was played and recorded by myself in it's entirety. It took me many years of works.)
My video have Educational Value and let me explain why: It does provide help to the user who watch the video. One of the few example for that is which musics is played from my gameplays. It could easily be found on video cards (The exclamation mark "!" you see on the video above at the right) and vice versa. (This mean that on this video for example, you could also find my actual battle gameplays of where this music is played)
- Secondly, My video are transformative enough, I took the time to play the game and recording the musics. I took the time to improve it's original quality using Vegas Pro. Thanks to a program called "Track EQ" that you can find on Vegas Pro.
This program allow the user to enhance it's original quality and further improving it. This need concentration as each version has different audio quality.
- Thirdly and as you have noticed: On each Generation, I use different background that I bought on a website called Shutterstock. (Which I have bought at least 336 pictures background, just so I can become as creative as possible and also work on a lot of different style using those background)
This kind of concept was created by myself since 2011. Today it has become one of the main concept of my channel that I personally created.
- Lastly is to bring the community together. I have noticed that so many people are commenting and giving their opinions on the video, sharing their experience about characters from the game, confirming theory, saying funny stuff and I find this extremely amazing and interesting! I don't want their comment to be unnoticed so I have plan for the future of my content about commenting and sharing their experience on videos that I will produce one day!

I've just realised something. Penny is from Galar and her ace is Sylveon, wich is a Fairy Type. And when a Fairy Type Move is turned in to a Max Move through Dynamax, it becomes... Max. StarFall.

I find it funny that beyond her Eeveelutions just being her pets, they all have the move Baby-doll eyes. Implication of them all being cute lil pets just cemented in a little more.

This theme makes much more sense for Penny when you put this into perspective. This is Giacomo's interpretation of the big boss that him and the team look up to.

Fun fact: Penny in the Japanese version is called "Botan", which means "Peony". In the west, peonies symbolize bashfulness and shyness. But in the east, they symbolize bravery and honour.
That's pretty much Penny in a nutshell; as a student, she's socially awkward and an outcast. But as her alter-ego, Cassiopeia, she's looked up to as a hero by team star who stood as a hero fighting against injustice and abuse.
In addition, the reason peonies are considered symbols of bashfulness in Europe is because fairies were believed to hide in their petals. And what’s Penny’s ace Pokémon again? Sylveon, a _Fairy_ type.

People are talking about how Giacomo composed this for a hero to him, and it really shines through. This sounds like a song created in the image of a hero who saved lives. It sounds so trusting and righteous.

Really, all the Team Star themes have that. I think it's meant to signify that Team Star aren't evil... They're just misunderstood, and wanted to take down the people that were bullying them because of a system that did nothing to help them in their times of need.
A new Eeveelution for this generation would have been perfect in my opinion
I know right were getting into open world so why not take advantage of it ;-;
Dragon type Eeveelution that would've been the most different from the others would be cool to show how powerful Penny really is. Especially since normally significantly important trainers are designed to match their Ace (like with Sada and Koraidon/Turo and Miraidon)

Yeah it seems that they're keeping it so that all Eeveelutions are based on the "special" types. If you look at the old gens before the physical-special split, you can see that all of the special types are occupied by Eeveelutions (idk why Ghost is physical)
Why not get an entirely new Pokemon that evolves into the remaining types? That would be much more interesting imo.

I can't believe I like all 3 rivals this much, and a satisfying end game in the crater to boot. I don't know who took control of the story for Scarlet/Violet, but please keep doing what you're doing forever.
So, most of the game was done by some other people, but Toby Fox wrote the ending, as well as all of team stars themes (and the final bosses).

The guy who wrote legends arceus. Apparently, after the colossal failure that was sword and shield they hired a new main story writer.
I’ll admit, he’s not bad. Still no Iwata, but he’s at least not afraid to actually throw some emotional haymakers out there.
Now all they need to do is start outsourcing their graphics team and overhaul the game engine. It’s pretty obviously poorly optimized. Talk to the guys who made Breath of the Wild, you guys all work for Nintendo after all.

It is sad that we can only hear the awesome themes once in the game before they get relegated to online battle only music. Honestly this is headbanging good music and should play whenever you re-battle Penny in the Academy Tournament.

Team Star gameplay wasn't good... But boy, the story is great.
I love how it starts chaotic and oppressive then turns into a very heroic sounding track. Mirrors her story so well. Went from being bullied to being the hero the school needed.

Edit: The national dex only enables you to have pokemon from other regions which is bad when compared to Pokemon Showdown's national dex because in this tier you could have mega evolutions , Z Crystals and Dynamax on top of Terastalisation .

What I love about penny is normally she’s the shy kid, but in ‘the way home’ she has such an attitude about her. Also, for being scared of everything the way she casually sits *backwards* on the legendary while on her phone is hilarious.

We all know Giacomo composed the music for Team Star, right? The reason why this theme sounds so intense is because Giacomo made a theme for Cassiopeia, a person he never saw or knew, not Penny. So he made the theme based on his opinion on the heroic Team Star's Big Boss, not Penny, a shy and adorable little girl

@@Kogami I'd say Kieran has the violins that are constantly playing his melody in all of his themes.
Carmine is also somewhat synth, with something that sounds like a traditional guitar.
Pecharunt and the Loyal Three are full on electronic synth with a dash of archaic Japanese lol.
Ogerpon mixes Japanese with a guitar.
I will cry with absolute happiness if we see a version of this carried over to the new anime. Hell, imagine even if there was an epic choir version for this song too

They reveal later on in the story that Penny is actually from Galar; and aside from her hair literally being the main colors for Pokémon Sword & Shield and her outfit looking a lot like something they'd make there, this song definitely gives that impression! Sounds like something they'd play at the Galarian Pokémon Gyms!

New idea, what if Giacomo wrote the hardbass section for the big boss, but then he's watching the battle and starts writing it on the fly? Like he starts paying attention when the galar theme makes its way in because that's probably the first thing he thought of when he thought of penny, so he started there and then went into the heroic section

Yeah her theme sounds like Marnie’s and Oleana’s. But when you think about it, her parents are probably rose and oleana. Her hair either represents zacian and zamazenta or the red dynamax energy and blue dynamax energy which could explain why Koraidon and Miraidon love her hair because maybe it’s connected to Zacian and Zamazenta or the 2 different dynamax energies. Maybe they had an encounter in area zero with these Pokémon or energy? Who knows dlc will tell. But Gibraltar being apart of the UK and UK being Galar makes sense for a return to Galar and return of dynamax and Rose and Oleana.

I told my brother how Penny has the loudest (and best) theme despite being the meekest and quietest out of the friend group. Then my brother pointed out that she's from the Gallar region, and we all know how much of a banger their themes are.
Firstly, are they really from Galar?
Secondly, this may be a bit of a stretch but if you think about it, Penny’s hair is red and blue, which were colours shared by Zacian and Zamzenta.

This battle was probably one of the most fun for me. Because I run an Eevee squad myself.

If I remember correctly, Penny asked him to record the fight because she wanted the other bosses to see her lose so the team would disband.

If Giacomo is supposed to have composed the music for Team Star, it makes sense that this theme would be such a contrast to how Penny is, Considering that they never knew who or how Penny was, it makes sense that he composed it with the image he had built about the great creator of Team Star
The creator/leader of every game’s evil teams always gets the biggest beats.
Never thought the day would come when I'd hear something akin to a hardstyle/happy hardcore hybrid theme in a Pokemon game... What an absolute party banger! Her theme definitely made me like Penny more as a character, especially given how much I love/listen to hardstyle.

I literally had no idea what music style or genre this was, and I wasnt paying attention my first playthrough... then second playthrough, I played via my dock which goes to my surround sound and this track made me want to rave! I'm gonna look for more like it!
The music she has is going VERY hard because this fight is basically completely out of her comfort zone. It's got this heartbeat-type bassline going hardstyle showing how panicked she is. Her pokemon aren't even for battling and they all have TM moves she cobbled together along with very basic ones like Baby-Doll Eyes and Quick Attack along stuff like Thunder and Moonblast because like most pets they probably spend their time begging for treats from a very generous person like Penny. Despite that i'd say she's harder then the Champion this generation lol
I love her team composition, probably the most storytelling Pokemon has ever done with a team. Her Pokemon are all high level, to indicate how much time she spends with them, but she's a terrible battler, the lower level Clavell is significantly more difficult.
The way she sociopathically orchestrated the whole mission, for a good cause

That's weird, I felt the opposite. In fact, I thought Clavell's battle immediately before was harder than the Penny battle. (For context, my team was high 40s when I did these battles and I didn't use any items in battle aside from hold items)
It breaks my heart that these games have such bad performance issues and glitches, because buried underneath all of it are SUCH good games, and the OST is no exception. Those issues are hard to look over though, like the games just straight up feel unfinished. Such a shame.
I feel like these games were Gamefreak trying to say to the community "we can make good games, we promise, we're just not given enough time - look at what we can do with the music and story if we sacrifice performance"

I just realized that Penny does not have an Espeon or Glaceon specifically because she's a night owl and isn't very adventurous, so it's very unlikely for her to get an Espeon or Glaceon naturally.
Glaceon and Leafeon are both stone evolutions since Gen 8, though.

I really really loved the Gen 9 games. Even though I haven’t played the DLC yet, I had a blast being able to go anywhere I wanted at any time, and the music in the games WERE SOO GOOD. This is the perfect example of why the music in Gen 9 was some of the best music from a Pokemon game in quite a while!

It's the intense hope and desire of a shy bullied kid who wanted to be a great leader. Who watched her carefully-calculated plan backfire and end up hurting people she cared about. She's fighting to put an end to what she sees a mistake, as a self-imposed penance to make up for friends that she's convinced she's betrayed and failed. At this point, she's fighting to prove to herself - to you - to the rest of Team Star - that all of her efforts up until now meant something. That regardless of what happens, the star in her burned as bright as it could.

Really, if I were to say if there was an underlying message to all of Team Star's themes, it's "underlying heroism." All of the themes almost take on a heroic edge.
Asides from how hard her theme goes, there's a certain part where there's this sentimental 'sparkly' tune going on that resonated with me

This game have a lot of problems that's for sure, but it's amazing in so many ways that you can't even describe it.

Penny starts the battle with Umbreon, just like her persona as Cassiopeia. She's trying to keep a cool and edgy image probably as a defense against the bullying she had to endure. By the end, she lets out her true ace, Sylveon. Showing her heart and how much her friends mean to her. Her true strength.
Her Umbreon was the first one i saw all game, the fact that it was her lead Pokemon tugged on my heart.
That little quip she gave before sending out Sylveon made me so happy too.

I do love how every Team Star them has a snap variation in their intro, but Penny's is the most obvious and central one to her theme. Just really shows that they only did this because they were pushed until they snapped.

Gen 9 undeniably has the best group of friends. Nemona is just so cool being all battle and actually having a challenge. Arven being Gordon Ramsay, how can u hate that and Penny despite being the quite one, still got some cool quirks and one her best traits is the fact that she's an eeveelution trainer which is completely awesome
Avren is my favorite rival in this game however the real Gordon Ramsey of Pokemon is Siebold

Also, you know, the whole story with Arven’s Mabosstiff. Not gonna lie, it made me cry. As somebody who has lost a dog, I know how he felt and why he tried so hard to save it. So damn wholesome.
Penny is also in a way, the first time the MC is close friends with an Team Leader. Sure, you can offer Piers but Team Yell wasn't really a Evil Team, just Dream Stans but for a challenger lmao, but jokes aside, Team Yell wasn't really like Team Star or Team Skull. Speaking of the latter, Team Skull is close contender but you aren't close friends with Guzma per se, just that both of you are just friends, likewise with Lusamine, Archie, and Maxie.
Penny though, she's the only one that the MC [To an extent, you as well] that's very close with you. You can even go to an extent to the rest of Team Star as well.
The drop in this theme is just so dirty, I love it. It's SO good.
Penny easily has one of the best themes of any of the “villainous” team leaders
I like taking Giacomo's line about making Team Star's tracks literally and that their in game bgm is his beats blasting out of a Bluetooth speaker in their pockets. Penny, the bosses, the grunts, he's going places if he keeps this up.
Considering Giacomo didn't know penny and that there is a hint of a galar theme in this, that meant Giacomo literally came up with this during the fight, TL;DR Giacomo is a beast

The AUDACITY of this game to give us not one, not two, but THREE amazing rivals, all of which being integrated into the story perfectly in unique yet believable ways.
I’m still genuinely amazed by how good the writing is for Scarlet and Violet. Definitely in my S tier for sure.
They even let us adventure with the 3 of them! I love ScVi so much!
In terms of story and gameplay, the game has probably got the best in the series, such a shame it wasn't finished.

This fight reminds me of It Has To Be This Way. Heck, some of the lyrics even match up:

The player chose what story to go through with (carving your own path), Penny simply did whatever she felt was necessary, using the power she had (this one is a bit of a stretch, but she followed the wrath that she had created), and both you and Penny were working towards the same goal for the same reason: to take down Team Star.
“…The world has turned, so many have burned, but nobody is to blame!”
Ever since Operation Star, the members of Team Star had been turned from heroes to villains by everyone else (the world had turned), many students have left the academy because of these events (in this case, it’s not literal burning, but the people who dropped out would probably go on to live worse lives because they dropped out), and nobody is to blame for Team Star’s reputation or anybody leaving aside from the bullies (BUT NOBODY IS TO BLAAAAME!)
“Yet staring across this barren wasted land, I feel new life will be born beneath the blood-stained saaaaaaaaaaaand!”
When you win the fight, the bosses of Team Star get new jobs they enjoy at the academy, and get to stay at the academy, while still keeping a boss-like role, because the director realizes that they had all been wrong in trying to condemn Team Star. (BENEATH THE BLOOD-STAINED SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND!!!)

I like to think that penny hacked into the school announcement system and this is just playing throughout the school
You know the entire team star arc gave me the whole "You aren't the hero of this story" vibe I felt more like a villain in this story. Team Star just wanted to stop the bullying but got all the blame. The only reason I'm a hero is cause by the law of code I am putting team stars legacy to rest. Penny just wanted a safer academy but they ended up getting all the blame. I feel that team star staying alive is the best thing that can happen for the academy especially now that they can help! 10/10 would recommend this was my favorite next coming in with Arven and the titans. And the way it all leads together at the end with everyone basically forming the Paldean Avengers to stop Turo/Sada's legacy is amazing. Best game ever.
