  • The world of work is going through an evolutionary time, according to Joseph B. Fuller, professor of management practice, Harvard Business School.
WorkingNation sat down with Fuller at Presented by JFF Horizons - See Beyond 2022 in New Orleans.
“Companies are rethinking how they evaluate talent. They are trying to adopt a skills mentality. Skills is a pretty elastic term, but how do we seek people that have work experiences or competencies that we think are significant in getting the job that we have open - done well?” states Fuller.
He continues, “What I'm excited about is innovative companies that are doing things like creating artificial intelligence that mine your performance management system, and really isolate what are distinguishing variables from people who have been a big success in the job, candidates for advancement, multiple promotions - and being able to gain insight into what are the attributes of someone who showed up with the skills and attitude to be success in the role.”
