Set after the events of the base game, Geralt is offered a contract by Duchess Anna Henrietta, the ruler of Toussaint, a vassal duchy under the Nilfgaardian Empire famous for its vineyards and wine exports. Two knights of Toussaint had been murdered in strange circumstances, and Geralt is tasked with finding and killing the monster responsible.
Upon his arrival in Toussaint, Geralt investigates the murder of a third knight. With the help of Henrietta and Captain Damien de la Tour, the knight heading the investigations, Geralt discovers clues that suggests the knights were killed for violating the five virtues that all knights of Toussaint sworn by, and that a fourth knight may be in danger. Geralt and the duchess race to find the fourth knight, and Geralt arrives just in time to see the Beast killing the fourth knight, who had traveled with him to Toussaint. Geralt gives chase to the Beast, eventually cornering and battling him in a warehouse. Before either can kill the other, Regis, a higher vampire and friend of Geralt, intervenes and convinces the Beast to leave. Regis, who Geralt believed to be long dead from their past incursion, explained that the Beast is another higher vampire named Dettlaff. Regis was revived by Dettlaff after his supposed execution, resulting in the fact that Regis is bonded to Dettlaff by blood according to their vampiric code.

Does anyone else get slightly sad when they hear this? Knowing that Blood & Wine is the last adventure we'll ever take with Geralt?
that's why I'm playing it a second time around =D
ACTUALLY
There is a small team of developers that started working on a new witcher adventure!
It will be called "Farewell of The White Wolf" and it will be about Geralt and Yenn getting married. You should look it up
Oh yeah i heard of that, can’t wait.
...damn I went with Triss :P...
Team Triss all the way.
35:23 is one of the best things i've heard. Makes you feel nostalgic. Best game i've ever played

E1337hobo X Dude, what?
I pirated the game and it was so good it made me feel like a scumbag so I bought it.
Today is the day I finished The whole game. The final look from geralt felt like a farewell from a true friend.
How many times have you played during this year?
This year I have national exams so I haven't played anything for a year
That is so true. I actually cried. And I was stunned at the way they showed that look. I think I said something along the lines of (and yes, out loud, to the damn screen!) "You need a rest, my friend. You earned it."
Anyone else here after beating the DLC and main game unable to let go of such an amazing game? :'(
I am :( i hope they will ever make more of this franchise
Finishing this game was like a bad breakup. :( I'm currently on my 3rd replay of the game.
Just finished the game at 100% and i finished with blood and wine.. Now i get chills everytime i listen to this and all the witcher musics, i want to erase my memory so i could play it again :(

Honestly the single greatest DLC of all time. A thrilling story couple with a beautiful landscape to explore and a masterful soundtrack that can calm even the angriest of souls.

The greatest game in existence. Bards swinging their hips with the flute and lute in hand, on the stage in the market square of Beauclair.
45:00 what a masterpiece
I hope in 15-20 years they will release a remake with the technology of that time. Same sound assets (voice, ost, ambient) just the graphics to be improved and controls adapted to whatever the future will bring us. The good memories I had in real life whilst playing Witcher and in game will surely put a tear in my eye.
this puts a tear in my jus thinking about it. It's not jus the nostalgia of the awe moments while playing games but the life events that surround us when we were playing that game that brings bittersweet memories. a longing to experience it all once again- the good and the bad.
I'd shed manly tears if that's ever gonna happen.
And if they happen to do it i'm sure they're gonna swim in cash from all the fans.
CD Projekt Red said that the main games on which they focus are Cyberpunk and Witcher, they said it last week, soo next witcher based game will be up for sure, hope the soundtrack will be astounding as well.
Victor Radu to think that this game barely ended (I know, few years since it was released...time flies) but it was nostalgic as soon as it finished
TW3's engine was grand too... it was SOOOO stable compared to 2. I don't think that The Witcher 3 did anything really innovative.. same old quest fetches... same kinda combat.. but my god, they knocked it out of the galaxy with the atmosphere (and the sheer amount of material). The game is so beautiful... especially this Blood and Wine expansion. I roam around the land and 34 year old me wants to tear up.... this is what I always hoped gaming would be, ever since I was a kid. I give so much credit to CD Projekt Red... I can't say it enough, how happy I am with their masterpiece. And pertaining to your comment, all three witchers would benefit from an update years later, as long as they fix 2's combat!
This is by far one of the best DLC's I have played ever, for any game.
This is the kind of music that speaks to the soul. Not garbage you hear on the radio. I finished the DLC last week and I am still wondering why the entire game had to end :'(
I completed this game like 4 years ago for the first time, and it still lives in my head rent-free.
Makes me nostalgic af
1:12:25 Listening to this track on a plane ride, best life decision ever!!! 😍
Did the same!
Regis is the best character hands down (in my opinion)
You're not wrong
I like Gaunter O'Dimm more in terms of complex character development and execution, but Regis is up there in the top as well for sure.
you want to know full regis strory, read the books :)
Przemysław Bogdan Are the english translations any good?
dunno, I am polish so I read orginal. for certain some of jokes or allusions are related to Polish laguage, history or culture an you won't nothce them. But there are also plenty related to general slavic and european civilisation which you sholud get. Aaaand the mont important thing - the plot itslef and metaforical meaning of some stuff is so obvious that either way check it out.
11:55 is the best song in the whole game, i cant tell why. It gives me chills and goosebumps. I could listen the whole day to this it doesent get boring, this game and its music touched my soul i cant describe this feeling. It feels like coming home. I want to visit south France and Italy and listen to this song.... This game will always have a special place in my heart, best game ive ever played
that part reminds me an older game - fallout 3, where I was standing in the middle of night on mojave desert and this kind of music entered the feel-party...
It's hard to get "On the Champs-Désolés" out of the head. So fresh and alive, it fits the adventure really well!!
Everything about the DLC and the whole game in general is just beautiful. So much passion and dedication to make a great experience from the developers.
Проходил Ведьмака и не помню сколько раз а дополнения просто шикарны
Для меня эта лучшая игра спасибо ком.. разработчиков
06. Fairy Tale 11:46 - this song stayed in my head, it brings so many memories from 2016 :( and the first time i've played this expansion.
Every area of The Witcher 3 has amazing music. The base game. The expansion. Even the trailers have fantastic remixes.
I am 37 and ı have been playing games since ı was a child..I am sure of that Witcher 3 is the best game ever made.İt is an emotion, a tale, a legend..I am playing it over and over again.Even ıf there ıs no more witcher contract, no Wild Hunt, there is still Novigrad, Oxenfurt ,Skellige, Toussaint for free roam wit their fantastic atmospheres.Sometimes ı stand and watch the sea in Skellige or stand and feel the sun in Toussaint..I am stuck in Witcher 3 universe and ı love that.. PS : I love you Triss Merigold.

Never knew an accordion could sound so epic!
Ahh, Toussaint so beautiful, peaceful and lovely place... I will play again very soon, i miss the game so much.
This is the one OST I've found on youtube that has the track "Living World" on it. I love that song so much. I always hear it in Beauclair at night and when it comes on, I always stop what I'm doing in game to listen to it. It gives me chills every time I hear it. The Witcher 3 as a whole is my favorite gaming soundtrack of all time, but Blood and Wine's OST specifically is one of the best soundtracks I've EVER heard in any medium... whether it be games, tv, movies, etc. Just incredible. Every track stands out and is instantly memorable.
The first track Tavern should be played at every cafe near the swiss alps ! One of the most beautiful serene track with flute ive ever come across...
I don't know how to express the love that I have for the witcher 3. I am sure I've listened to it too many times for the past 2.5 years. I was listening listened to it during my university time, and do it now while I'm working. It's just an amazing piece of art!
I´m in love with Beauclair 35:23 :)
36:43 My favorite part!! 😍
While hearing from the first tune to the last..from main game part 1,2,3 thru all dlc´s..all that memories came up, all the stories and funny, sad, melancholic, proud moments, atmosphere. Like if u have read a book many times and rly love the chars in it..without read one single word.
As it was with all parts, part 3 set new standarts that we will meet again in other games..stunnig epicness at its best. I´m going to miss it..till we meet again..somewhere, somehow.. big up CD Project RED...u´ve done a job outta this world! Thx 4 this, and never loose ur spirit like all the others, pls

i can't count how many hours i poured into this game and simply can't stop, it's like a beautiful painting from which you cannot take you eyes off 100/100
Это прекрасно, я снова люблю жизнь
I cant believe we got this amazing soundtrack for the DLC. So beautiful. Seriously like wtf this expansion alone would of been worthy of its own game imo. Blood and Wine was a hundred times better than Heart of Stone. Makes me sad its over. I want another Witcher game after Cyberpunk.
@MmM H.O.W.?
@@tonytancos8051 I would say both had greateness. I mean its CD Projekt Red, they care, I don´t belive that they didnt put tears, sweat and blood into HoS. Gunther O´Dimm initials means G.O.D. and music is composed to feel strange and unknown. Blood and Wine soundtrack was ment to sound like peace, I mean Toussaint werent in any big battles or well, nothing big bad happened in their country.
Theses songs are beautiful, they make me nostalgic about this dlc.. seriously , it was my favorite dlc (the song, the stories, the characters, the landscape ..all was perfect 😭❤ ..)

The first song is definitely my jam! The musicians at the Gran'place plays this piece from time to time. When Geralt hears it, always reacts as "great tune". When I witness his reaction, immediately place him right in front of the stage and enjoy this masterpiece with him until it ends. Me and Geralt, we just take a break for ourselves.
Unfortunately, I can not find the song on Spotify.

In 5-10 years time I would pay good money for a remaster. Very good money.
I returned a few days ago to Toussaint and Kaer Morhen, after three and a half years to reduce the number of saves (a lot of space on HDD) and by chance I find that I didn't finish some side activities. I finished the decoration on the Corvo Bianco and said goodbye to Yen lying on a lounger under a tree... I can't describe the feeling better than 52:33 ... and I'm old enough for some sentimentality...
52:33 is a hidden gem.

Me quito el sombrero ante tal maravilla sonora!, como productor de dibujos animados creo que esta ambientación es super recomendable a la hora de trabajar en el diseño digital
