- Sharing my Eureka after I finally discovered the solution to printing from my Canon TS 704 Multipurpose tray, while exploring what could be done to make the multipurpose tray go inwards when pushed after unboxing the Printer and switched on, so as to print PVC ID Cards and CD Labels.
I had to share this to help solve this issue for anyone who has this similar problem if after unboxing the Canon TS 704 and you wonder why the Multipurpose tray won't go inwards when pushed as required to print PVC cards or CD Labels.
God bless you. I thought I had been scammed. This is awesome
Thank you so much. I've been struggling with this all day!

Does it come with the ID tray?
Yes watch the video again I showed the part where it is under the machine or sometimes it comes separately.
Just make sure to ask when buying.
Regards!
@CharlesEffiongOtokCViolin You took out the CD tray, not ID tray.
How does the ink stay on the Pvc? Does it last
You are right!
How I meant was that I don’t know what the situation is with yours but for mine the printer came with the multipurpose CD tray under the output tray.
The ID card tray came separately packed.
Who knows it could be swapped but you will definitely find either under the output tray with the other packed separately.
Like I said ask from the sales person if you didn’t find it.
As for how the ink stays on the ID card pvc,I don’t know about the mechanical process that takes.
But I think you meant how to get the ID card design unto the desired PVC card area and not smeared around.
So to do this you have to make your ID card design on an ID card design template from your Corel draw software interface.
You can check for CZcams videos on how to create this ID card design template and it’s dimensions.
This should get your designs in place on the pvc card without ink spillage.
Be careful not to touch the surface of the ID card when just printed to allow it air dry.
And yes it does last depending on the handling habit of the owner or the storage of the finish ID card product.
Hope this helps.
My regards again!
