My 12 year old nephew passed away on Saturday afternoon after a 2 year battle with cancer. This was one of his favourite songs and he asked his daddy to play it for him and an hour later he closed his eyes and passed peacefully. He was a believer so his blessings will come in the new city in Heaven 🙏🏽🙌🏽❤

I'm 75 days sober today from alcohol, weed, opiates, and meth. God is good. I had to fire myself as manager of my life and let God manage me. I still struggle with manic depression from losing almost everything, but God is with me. By His love, AA, and good sponsorship I can live life one day at a time. Hopefully when I get a car I can get from Arlington to Social Dallas. I just moved here from Los Angeles and am looking for a church to call home. GOD BLESS 😇
Congratulations! Keep it up. My husband is almost 1 year sober but is now paying the price for things that happened during that 2 year period. The battle isn't over, but God is in front now. You can do this! When depression sets in (and it's a spirit, so tell it to back off in Jesus' name) take time to write down a few things that He's done for you and that you're thankful for, turn on some praise music and change the atmosphere. Fill your heart and mind with scripture and sermons and good music and you'll find the depressive episodes less and less severe. Praying that God will give you a wonderful testimony to share with others on the other side of this!
Words can’t express how proud I am of you. And, happy that your family can witness a miracle through you. I know how hard addiction is. I pray you never let the devil make anything be strong enough to trigger you to return. We know getting High is an illusion of help. It “helps” for a moment but then only makes it all worse. Keep your eye on Christ. I’m proud of your strength and I’m truly rooting for your continuous healing, mercy, and transformation. May God continue to guide and protect you. Your life matters so much.

You've got this. I stopped back at the beginning of the year in Jesus name and It has been such a struggle the whole time but don't forget man Jesus has you through it all. It's going to be hard. Don't expect immediate change the day you stop. You will have to work towards this but you can do this
God has delivered you . Trust know and believe.I stopped using cocaine and drinking after my daughter passed in a car accident… I could not lean on drugs to numb the pain and the grief I understood I have to lean on God to deliver me from the pain and the trauma of the addiction 🌈🦋✨

I've been addicted to porn since I was a little girl. It started small, with the fascination of watching people kiss on TV. Then it grew to porn sites and touching myself. The pastor is speaking the truth when he says it starts with deception. I would lie to myself by saying other people were worse since they were actually doing it, while I'm just watching it. Got saved a few years ago and never felt the need to be loud about this addiction, I would fight and lose in private. But now I have got the courage to tell it to my church and my family. I thank God for that. Because now I will have people joining me and praying for me. The devil has lost his hold on me. Christ has set me free! Hallelujah!

I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. I was a meth addict too, Pastor. My last hit was on January 30 of this year. I have been actively attending church ever since, gradually surrendered my life to Him. My next step is to quit smoking cigarettes as well. It's too early, but I have been off of it for two weeks now, as I attempt to become more like Jesus each day. I turn to you also as a good interpretator of the Word, and as a worship leader of some sorts as I cry all my worries to God privately. Thanks for being a legit preacher, Pastor Robert. Hope your church grows, and you visit my country in the future, the Philippines.

What made you try meth, and what was your final strike where you knew you needed to be clean/free?
@kyndracrump I fell into a very dark place in my life. I lost my father to cancer in 2008, and I was going through a divorce at the same time. On top of that, both of my children, they wanted to live with their father. I lost EVERYTHING. I hit rock bottom and fell into a deep depression. Met a guy who I ended up getting involved with. Before I knew it, I was doing meth with him. I was on meth for 8 years. What made me stop was my children. I didn't want to be like my mom and not be a part of their lives. My mom chose meth and the man she left me and my father for, and I didn't want to hurt not only myself anymore but I didn't want to hurt my kids anymore. It wasn't like I woke up one day and said, " I'm going to do meth." it wasn't like that at all. I was hurt and broken, and I didn't want to live anymore. My kids mean a lot to me. I know that the whole time I was twisted out of my mind, Abba Father had his mighty hand on me. I didn't realize it then, but now I do. I should be dead or in prison, but ABBA FATHER said no. I came close to death several times. That's how I know that he had his mighty hand on me the whole time. Women don't make it out of the streets, much less get sober and stay sober from meth. This April, I'll be celebrating 8 years of sobriety, and no, I do not get any urges to do meth. I've been with the Lord for 5 years now, and he is who I devote my life to and my kids.
Been sober for over 7 years. The church has really stepped up to view addiction with compassion in recent times and I’m here for it 🖤

@dianabenavides2913 😳😳😳😳 girl, you just threw away more than 80% of people in the church. Addiction isn't just substance abuse & pornography. It is also addiction to food, anger, gossip, attention, etc. We are all flawed. This is what Yeshua's sacrifice was for. Otherwise, we wouldn't need a Savior. We need to have grace, not judgemental, and at the SAME time be true to the Word by advising in love but being stern.
Please pray for my sugar/ food addiction. I'm three years sober from alcohol but food is a strong hold on me right now.

I am also struggling with masturbation. I've also tried letting go of my faith because this is now over me. It is what I easily bow down to. I love social media as I am young but I can quit social media but not lust. And this sermon just touched me so much. I am in this cycle of lustful thoughts and masturbation. Every time my relationship is moving smooth this addition comes back. Now I believe I will be set free 😭😭😭😭 because God is the our liberator. This sin and addition makes you feel alone, shame, guilt and messes up with your identity. I believe God is going to set me free.
What I went through is that stopping was easy but maintaining that purity was the difficult part. So I prayed and searched about the spirit of lust and how it works. I learned that as soon as we act in our lust, watching porn, masterbating , fornication etc. The spirit of lust and those connected to it plant seeds in our mind most especially subconscious minds, that's why we may experience sexual dreams or lustful thoughts out of the blue, and we end up acting upon them because "the intense feeling of wanting to commit that sin" its actually a demon that takes over your body for you to feel those intense feelings. So I've started doing this at it is really helping. Remove any triggers and when temptation comes pray aloud and rebuke the spirit of lust. Pray and ask God to uproot whatever the spirit of lust has planted in you body, heart, mind and let the Holy Spirit fill those places. Declare that you are a child of God and the righteousness of The Most High God. And declare that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. Declare yourself free from bandage and start to worship. You will see drastic change, temptations will get stronger but that's when you know you on the right track . You will be set free and when the thoughts come back it will get easier and easier when repeating this cycle. It's working for me and I've started this journey for the next coming 3 months cause I learned that a habit can be made or destroyed within 90 days. So my goal is to stay clean from all sexual sin and associated with it for starting at just 90 days and growing stronger from there. I hope this helps. 🙏

And yes I aso get sex dreams or random lustful thoughts and I keep thinking maybe it won't get to masturbation and it always ends there. But in the mighty name of our lord Jesus christ I will be set free from this sin. I've seen alot of testimonies of people who beat this sin. With God nothing is impossible.

Jesus rescued me from a 17 yrs serious alcohol addiction 19mo ago! I never ever ever thought my life could be redeemed but I gave my life over to him and he took that from me! And to top it all off I was a functioning alcoholic until I wasn’t last yr but still NOBODY outside my family even knew. Almost took my life on three occasions. Thank you Jesus!!! 🎉❤

I am grateful for the miracle as I am today. I am free from alcohol and drugs for 65 days. I have tried on my own for years to break those habits in addition. I went to prison and God gave me strength and courage to overcome my feelings and how my mind reacts to substance even being locked up. I love the word of God that sets me Free from the fresh. I am in love with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I take time for the Lord and my life is awesome today. Even when I got let go of my job and I trust in Him that says I have a plan for you trust in me the Lord Jesus Christ has a way when I think I messed things up. Believe and receive. Amen

An addiction most don't know about or want to talk about is sugar addiction. I've never been a drug addict or alcoholic but I am a sugar addict. Sugar is my go to when I'm stressed out. A lot of people are sugar addicts and have no idea. I enjoyed this message. Thank you.

I'm a beloved daughter of God and a food/sugar addict. I understand it and I want freedom from it. May God set us free.
You can be addicted to the gym, work, porn, shopping. Anything that you put before God. God showed me this in the few years of healing he put me through. I went to everything else to avoid being alone in quiet. That caused me to not work on myself. I stayed busy. Once God slowed me down and got me to learn this I stopped going to everything else and went to God and learned to sit in silence also to be able to think and process through my trauma and wounds to heal. So now the rest of my life by learning this God helped me break old cycles and thought processes. Which ultimately helped me find who I am in Christ. I prayed for wisdom healing and knowledge through those seasons. Anybody can break the addiction cyclea with God by their side!
Addiction starts by avoidance.
Money is also another addiction. Some parents are so concerned about making money to buy bigger houses or boats and cars and material things that they aren't there for their kids like they should be.
I felt this my sister. I can totally relate. I’m still in the battle now after being saved by Jesus a couple of years ago, and I pray for the healing and freedom from addictions that you have experienced 🙏🏼 praise be to God xx
I’m 3 days sober I’ve battled alcoholism for 18 years, being in addict is like being in the darkest pit in hell, I finally had this feeling I can do this, I’ve been praying and praying and praying and I think it’s working now. It’s been a blessing that unfortunately my health has been failing and I’m only 39 but I’m happy so I can be set free!

Hamilton, Ohio -I am 48 and was an addict for 35 years at least. I went to treatment three times. I got thrown out of one. Then one day I decided to go back to church and stop. That was almost a year and a half ago. He freed me of it all! I still can’t believe it. I still don’t know me, but I know who He says I am. I just keep my eyes on Him and keep going. Thank you Jesus!

My mother passed away from a accidental fentanyl overdose after surgery when I was 23 and then in our grief my 21 year old sister overdosed 3 years later then 3 years after that my best friend of 20 years overdosed even after all that I got my self into a bad addiction to heroin and all praise be to God he set me free it's been 4 years sober and all the thanks belongs to him he delivered me amen!!!!❤

You're going to have to 100% surrender to God. Cry out to him daily. Pray in tongues, listen to worship music only, read Christian books including the BIBLE. Watch preaching on CZcams. Join a church and attend regularly. Don't hang around those who are not serving Christ. Be thankful and grateful. Get a job if you don't have one. Join AA

I’m going the same thing asking God for help and His deliverance from the addiction that made my husband have three seizures, that made my Dad fall asleep drunk inside his call while running in the garage and it had my Mother drinking all my life. My life was a living hell living with her, but God delivered her unfortunately she is gone from this earth and this addiction had my uncles and Aunts drinking and drugging, but God I need you to deliverance in Jesus Name, Amen!!

I was bowing to alcohol. porn, pills, and weed. it’s crazy before 30 minutes he hit all of them. this was MY WORD. This is my first time listening to this young Pastor, and what he' s preaching is real! People can keep on doing what you like, and you knowing its destroying you slowly, interfering with your family, job, all that but you don't care and lond as your feeling good! The devil got you tied, bound, wrapped all up like a package that cant break free! People can pray for you all day everyday,but you got to get ,want help for your self! You use every excuse to drink, use drug, be addicted to whatever hou think you love to this point! I say go ahead, blow, snort, suck,lick,shoot, whatever turn you on, because i can only pray for you and if you don't love yourself no more than to torture it ,then what else you expect somebody else to do for you! 🔥 First time ever hearing this man of God preach. For someone who started being addicted at age 13 and struggled with this for 17 years, suffering silently. Drugs, alcohol, shopping, being in a relationship no matter if it's good or bad, cutting, energy drinks, attention from men. Thank you for this beautiful teaching. You hit every word right on the nail and has brought so much revelation and insight and I feel the presence of His love for my life, all of my life even when I once felt unloved and was so unlovable and lost and felt so misunderstood. I needed to hear this, I been in need of past healing and I feel a new fire in me. Beautiful. Only by His glory. Praise our Lord and savior Jesus Christ. You're going to have to 100% surrender to God. Cry out to him daily. Pray in tongues, listen to worship music only, read Christian books including the BIBLE. Watch preaching on CZcams. Join a church and attend regularly. Don't hang around those who are not serving Christ. Be thankful and grateful. Get a job if you don't have one. Join AA

I thank God because despite going to church and actively praying,i still struggled with sexual addiction and substance addiction for yest,i met the Lord on 9th May and repented through pastor Roberts sermons.I have been 1month 4days sober and my relationship with God has flourished immensely.

Me and my husband struggle w meth addiction and it has caused me to get into legal trouble and im asking for prayers for God to have mercy and please pray that we will fully surrender pur lives to God and be set free. I want to be on fire for Jesus and have hope, strength, peace, and joy. Im using to cope and its making us miserable. We know true freedom comes from surrendering fully to Christ. Pray for us. Great Sermon!!! I have fought addiction for many years. I messed with Heroin, went to prison years ago. Three times for 19 mo. Came home stayed clean for a year & 1/2, made my parole. Then the devil would come along & say "You can do it one more time" Just one more time and the addiction would get me again. I knew God & went to church everytime I went to prison. It has been a long road but I am a fighter. I have been clean for 25 yrs and it is only by the grace of God. 😊😂❤❤

I'm sitting in the I C U right now because I went on a week long drinking bender. I am ashamed. I feel ugly. I feel useless and I feel scared. I almost caused myself brain damage. When I watched this video I wasn't ready to hear It. But God keep making me watch it and I'm still watching. Please pray for me, and Jesus keep me near the cross.

I have 74 days clean from all drugs and alcohol!! I have been fighting this addiction since I was 15. I spent most of my young adult life in treatment centers. My last use I over dosed in detox at rehab. And I have over so many times I lost count.Two of those times my heart stopped over for over 8 minutes. God has a purpose for my life I will finish my Christian Drug and alcohol counseling degree! All my using acquaintances are all dead or in prison or at best lost her mind completely. And I am saying that literally I am a walking miracle and so thankful to be alive something is different this time God has definitely set me free! The obsession and compulsion to want to use has been lifted!!! Praise God and this is these is tricky it does start with deception. The # 1 symptom that Attics die in is denial.

I'm in Montreal, Canada. God and AA and the rehab center Portage has saved me from from addictions to drugs, alcohol and food. I've been sober since April 13, 2022. I work at a rehab center and am going back to school to become an addictions counselor.
