Laburnum waterii. Been admiring these around the UK this spring also and reached out to ID them. Have never noticed them any other time of the year?!
They are beautiful trees for sure. This is their bloom time here
beautiful trees sadly quite invasive where I live. at our place they often bloom in march to april.
Here they self seed like weeds. I remember 30 years ago thinning out a small forest of them with my chainsaw
