- Belgium's Eurovision 2024 singer Mustii describes the theme of resilience in his song "Before the Party's Over." He says the music video reflects this - how he's restless but then has a release. He says the drag scene in Brussels is very inspiring, partly because it's a struggle to do drag. "The scene in Brussels is so, so interesting," he says. "They helped me to grow and to write that kind of song."

@@jean-paullanghoor6917 Hey Jean, I never thought about this. I would assume at that point VRT and RTBF would work together, to carry the cost? Who knows. Though I would always assume it would be Antwerp, even if it is the RTBF on its own. Language border hopefully doesn't matter. Brussels is in dier need of infrastructure. In any case, Mustii will be great but the competition is too great this year.
@@lemastre Hi. No, will not happen : if Mustii wins, will be RTBf alone (as it was when Sandra Kim won - they had built a special venue in the Palais 5). ING Arena is not as big as Sportpaleis, right, but big enough (till 18.000 persons) and, most important, more modern with beter infrastructure. So, for Eurovision, would be perfect. And, yes, let's cross fingers in het Vlaams, en français, in Deutsch... ;-)

@Ivushka21 I think he does, or at least the BE delegation. The (audience-noise filtered out) Wiwibloggs London-video was withdrawn after 2 days. Murphy's Law: he had a cold, arrived to late, was sleep deprived, ear-in problems, voice-problems ... Let's hope he skips the A'dam pre-party and bounces back in the semi-final with staging.
Lol you are seriously overrating the power of pre-parties. They are only watched by a small portion of the worldwide audience. It's the studio/ music video version, the live tv rehearsals, live shows and the audience watching TV who will decide if he's a qualifier or not. His performance at Eurovision In Concert was miles better yesterday, and showcased just a portion of what he's capable of. I have no reservations about him qualifying, too many people love his song and are invested. He'd have to stand on stage for 3 minutes in complete silence to not qualify.
