In this video, we take a look at a massive jumbo flat in Marsiling, designed by Ashley from PuroMuro Studio!
Having lived in a tiny 4-room BTO flat previously, homeowner Faidzil and his family now have a whopping 170 sqm worth of space to enjoy, with ample room for the kids to play in, and for Faidzil and his wife Shireen to finally pursue their respective hobbies - gardening and cooking.
Upon entering, you'll find a lush entryway-turned-garden that is home to Faidzil's array of plants, giving off a soothing yet welcoming vibe that greets you as you walk further into the home.
At the end of the entryway, you'll come face-to-face with the living room and kitchen - intentionally designed as a seamless open-concept space to give Faidzil and Shireen's young children the room and freedom to run around and play with their toys.
The focal point of the kitchen: a stunning asymmetrical kitchen island, built around a structural wall to incorporate it into the design. Situated in the middle of the communal area, it is the centrepiece where the family sits down to have their meals and a place to lay out the dishes cooked by Shireen during family gatherings.

Seriously, this Malay owner’s house ..is very global look! It say a lot of this owner has a global taste..differ from the stereotype that’s is green , yellow ,,Hari Raya decor

I am wondering how many malay homes you have visited. Throughout the years I visit houses of family, relatives, friends and acquaintances, green or yellow is not a common color across all 😅 The ones that do are houses of older people, but still, not a common denominator. In fact, houses of people around my mother’s age all look modernized already. And she is in her 50s.
But this house really is amazing!
