Jules Harings - Associate Prof/Group Leader Macromolecular Physics Maastricht University

Jules Harings found a good job in industry after his PhD. Nevertheless, he did not hesitate for a moment when he was asked some eight years ago to help start up 'natural science' activities at Maastricht University. Especially in the fields of (macro)molecular physics and renewable materials, he gave meaning to teaching and research programs at what is now the promising Faculty of Science and Engineering. In 2020, Jules became group leader at research institute AMIBM, the Aachen Maastricht Institute for Biobased Materials based at Brightlands Chemelot Campus.
