    Fruity waveshaper is HUGELY overlooked! To the readers of this I’d recommend that you simply try adding a waveshaper to any drum sound or the drum bus and increase the curve (not too much) then have a fruity soft clipper after it (leave settings as is) explaining why this works is more long winded than you just trying it out for yourself, you will learn what it does just by listening to the result.

      For sure is a good way of getting anything to sound fatter! For a short explanation you’re increasing the volume / saturating and then clipping to lower peak volume.

    I've always wondered how to listen to the send channel when doing parallel, thanks for the tip.

    I really love the balance of being specific and not being too specific at the same time on an issue and you nail that. Also I am really hyped for your new track!

    Damn, it can get this complicated and intricate? All I do is narrow them to the middle and drown them in a compressor, and they sound great 😂

    Very cool analysis 👍 please make the same video with the analysis of the Bass line of this track. It's very interesting how Bass is made in this track. Thank you very much for your work and help in creating your tracks. You are the best!!!!!

    I would like some tutorial for the plugin you have on top. What should the sound "look like"?

    • @MartzDnB
      @MartzDnB Před měsícem

      The plugin at the top is called ‘MiniMeters’ it’s a visual aid that can help guide you towards a better mix (you should never use it replace the skill of HEARING if something is right or not) Notably it includes visual aids for stereo spacing (how central/wide your mix is), frequency level monitoring (visual EQ), loudness units meter (LU/LUFS) and a few other features. The plugin is still in beta/testing phase so is very cheap to buy at this time and would definitely recommend purchasing! There’s plenty of videos on how to set it up and what everything does. You’d honestly learn more just from using it and seeing for yourself though!

      Yeah it’s a decent tool. Really good for the price, it just displays a lot of information at once which is super useful when making music. But going back to what you said, I don’t feel like you should aim for your sound to “look” a specific way. All songs / styles are different, and I would rely on your ears and not your eyes
