The 1960s and 70s produced some amazing muscle machines in both Australia and America. Best era for high-powered cars.
So happy you enjoyed our classic muscle car video!
I never realized Australia made such awesome muscle cars back in the day. Right up there with American icons like the Mustang and Camaro.
We're grateful for your viewership - thanks for watching.
Seeing all the classic Australian muscle cars makes me want to import one to the USA. Something you dont see at muscle car shows very often.
Thank you for being a part of the Q Muscle Cars community.
Me too, at least the steering wheel would be on the correct side for me though.
Yes@@russc788
Australian Valiants and Aussie Ford Falcons have that classic muscle car look that rivals American icons like the GTO and Mustang.
We're so glad you enjoy our muscle car videos.
Models like the Holden Torana and Ford Falcon GT remind me a lot of American compacts like the Chevy Nova or Plymouth Barracuda muscle cars.
We hope you liked this video - thanks for watching!
The XC Cobra has the dark blue as the base colour and the white and lighter blue stripe is added. An aesthetically pleasing motor car along with the GTR-X U1.
Great. Do you like that car?
@@qmusclecars. Yes , the XC Cobra was an awesome looking 2 door. The XU-1 was an awesome 6 pot .
Yes. Thank you. Will you continue to watch my videos?@@PaulA-bv1rt
Cobra looks gaudy and tacky
Yes, thank you@@JohnSmith-rw8uh
You cant beat the raw power of an American V8 but some of those Australian inline 6 cylinder motors are pretty impressive too in muscle cars.
You can with a nice 69 dodge charger daytona with wing, 1970 Plymouth road runner shorebird or my favorite a 1971 hemi Cuda.
Great.
a lot of aussie 6 cylinders were more powerful than a lot of v8's of the same era. and if they weren't more powerful they were just as quick.
the e49 charger 265 hemi i6 with triple webers was 302hp stock, the 318 v8 was 230hp and the 340 v8 was 275hp.
great. thank you.@@6226superhurricane
yes, thanks for your information.@@6226superhurricane
I never realized so many Australian muscle cars ended up in America back in the 1970s. Cool to see them at car shows now.
Thanks for tuning in to our muscle car content, really appreciate it.
The XU-1 shown was an LJ, not an LC
Thanks for your information. Hope you continue to watch my videos.
American muscle cars are cool but I really like the look of Australian models like the Holden Monaro. Very unique styling.
Thank you for your ongoing support, it means so much.
"Falcon GTRX" That is incorrect. it is a XR Series FALCON GT. The Falcon Cobra was purely a marketing exercise to use up a stockpile of unused bodies and parts left over after Ford Australia ceased production of the Falcon Hardtop. The LEYLAND P76 Coupe is actually called the Force 7 and Leyland Australia whilst a division of British Leyland, was an Australian company . The Force 7 was never released on to the market or put in to production because it could meet compliance rules . The Force 7s that were produced were essentially test mules. Tickford was an independent company who modified the Falcon, the modified Tickford Falcons then being sold through Ford dealerships The same with HSV and the CLUB Sport, both cars being built by independent outside companies and the cars then being sold through Holden dealerships. .
Thank you. My recorder is having trouble pronouncing abbreviations. I was unable to edit after the video was published. I'm very sorry about that. Thank you for helping me.
nice. like the falcons , shows that a 4door sedan can be a muscle car ....not much love in the U.S. collector car market for 4 dr sedans. they could have been ordered with a 4 speed . was at a car show yrs ago a 1964 ford custom 4 dr post 352 4 speed no one hardly looked at it
Why do you have so much information about muscle cars? Very admirable.

That XY is a South African import .Some where 2 doors 429 460 motors best ones
Thanks for watching our latest American muscle video.
XYs were never 2 doors. South African cars can be identified by the the white round or square reflector dots that was mandatory for all cars in South Africa to have on the front and rear. Generally speaking the Fords and Holdens - the latter of which was marketed as both a Holden and Chevrolet - that originated from Australia were usually fitted with different motors on arrival in South Africa. ie the Holden 6 was replaced with a Chev 6 , the same for the 8s.
Thank you@@EVISEH
Have you not heard of Bolwell? How did THAT car not make your list?
Thank you for your information. I will learn about this car. Are you ready to watch it?
Absolutely!
Thank you@@michaelwilson604
Bolwell Nagari was and still is classified as a Sports car, not a muscle car.
It's been such a long time i've heard anyone mention this car.
Thank you. Maybe I need to reconsider my ranking.@@user-dz1us8vn2r
Put another shrimp on the barbee
We appreciate you choosing our muscle car channel today!
They are called prawn... prawns plural in Australia and England.

force 7 never went ahead because the p76 was am unreliable pos that flopped hard.
Thanks for your information. Do you own any muscle cars?
How many errors can this guy make? The XR had a GT option, not GTRX. The Tickford shown was a Fairlane, not a Falcon. And so many other mistakes it is not funny.
Yes, there were some silly mistakes that I let out. I'm very sorry for this bad experience. I will pay more attention in the next videos.

This guy doesn't know very much, getting a lot wrong here
Thanks for your great information. I researched the information on the internet and there may be some errors. Can you tell me a reliable source of information?

There's a fair bit wrong in this video.
You totally downplayed the Monaro, which is an Australian performance icon. Sure there are many different engines. There were big V8 racing cars. You need to do WAY more research on the Holden Monaro.
You totally left out the Holden Torana A9X.
The hot Valiant Chargers that raced were straight sixes with triple Weber carburetors.
The Leyland was a total non event.
You need to do WAY more research first.
yes, thank you very much@@ANTHONYGL23
You may need to "teach" your AI voice over how to pronounce certain words so that it doesn't make people's skin crawl.
Aussie: pronounced Aw-zee
Monaro: pronounced Mahnarro
Good videos but you may need to do a bit more research.
Thank you. Maybe I'll need a new recordist. There are so many complaints about the voiceover, even though he's a rap singer.
