And here was when I heard this beautiful voice for the first time and I fell in love. It's been about 6 years and every time I hear Nicoletta singing I'm enchanted.
This song is one of the best for practicing alternate picking and "large" jumps on fretboard. One of the best Kalidia songs :)

Nicoletta has a magnificent voice, for those of you who can't get past how she sounds when singing in English look up their video for the song "Ed il buio se ne andra", she really shines on that one! The rest of the band sounds great too, can't wait to hear more from them.

Ok, I've been noticing a trend of talented bands with beautiful talented female vocalists. It's a formula that works and I like it!
Band: great location, cameras, light, set up... singer: 5 hours to get ready (clothes, make up, hair...)... bass-guitar-synth: all in black, hair cut, beard trimmed, need to look cool for the video...drummer: what time is this gonna be over? I want to go fishing with my friends.
I've been laughing at this for like 10 minutes

well.. i expected a little more from the guitar..
The guitar riff he plays is actually very simplistic. It's just speed picking one string followed by a few pull offs up, and down the neck. A few songs I play around with uses this technique. It's really fun to play around with. Sounds good, and it's easy enough to move around with during live shows.
What does being simplistic have to do with being good? (Asking, not trying to start hissy fits)
just means its dime-a-dozen riffs. Hard to get engaged when we've heard it 1000x before from other bands. The only thing Kalidia has going for it is the vocals, if youre into her style.

Came across these guys by accident as I'm usually into alot of metal and Japanese VK bands, but whenmi heard these I couldn't stop headbanging. they are epic. why aren't these guys in the metal mags? they are really really good and she has a fab voice (I'm normally a fan of Nightwish and tears of a martyr) but I really like KALIDIA
