- Aww yiss more conversion kits! Shoutout to Bryant for letting me film his Carbon Fury RC Hyperflex Conversion Kit for Reve-D RDX :D Being able to compare all these conversion kits lately has been quite interesting as we have a lot of different kits running at the Strickly Sidewayz Club polished concrete track. The Carbon Fury Hyperflex kit I got to take a good first look at felt quite nice to drive and I started to smile more and more. I hope to acquire one in the near future for testing and comparison :D Also, i forgot mention the front knuckle weights at front of the front knuckles and we finally got our Strickly Sidewayz edition Yokomo P-Tile tires in stock :D You can see them on the rear of the car in the close up shots :D This thing dragssss walls quite good as well :D Shoutout again to Bryant for providing his car for this video and shoutout to Che Ese Chan as well for the gutter sendos! :D Enjoy the video :D

Also, be sure to try out the different flex settings:
->Max flex - Lower deck alone
->High flex - lower deck & upper decks
->Middle flex - 2 standoffs between lower & upper decks
->Max stiffness - 4 standoffs between lower and upper decks

I’ve been wanting to come down to this track for a bit, I run a hpi sprint 2 with a yeah racing rwd conversion kit and I’ve never taken it on the track. Excited to see how it runs
I've seen a vew HPI Sprint 2's wit hthat conversion run there, they do alright but it 's been a while since I've seen one.

how do you compare this to the bingo chassis, and have you tried the different flex configurations yet?
So far I have not obtained a test chassis kit of my own to really test it and compare it. I drove another driver's car with carbon fury's newest hyperflex deck installed and it was quite good on p-tile. Both are highly effective and give great performance gains.

what "platform" do you recommend / why? i had a rmx 2.0 a while back and looking at getting back into it. i was looking at the RDS comp builders kit to start with or the MST RMX 2.5 Classic kit and do a conversion deck?
Well anything MST ends up being a crap shoot as parts availability is terrible globally so most people end up moving to another brand. The MST RMX 2.5 lineup will soon be discontinued I'm sure now that the "EX" range has arrived and them im sure MST will kill those off in less than 6 months lol. So far Yokomo and Reve-D have been fulfilling the appetites for most. the Redcat RDS is ok, most end up going for a kit vs the RTR version. If you want immediate bang for buck with lots of support the Reve-D RDX is the way to go.
Does the RDX gearbox need grease?
Nope, runs dry but you could put it if you really wanted to.
