The newbie traffic cop checks the images on the speed limit trap and sees a lawnmower coming past at 40mph. "Boss, the speed radar needs recalibrated!" Then the Sheriff sees it's Paul & FabRats and says, "nope, it's fine!" 😆
Here's a tip for you. Cut down the rear body work and put the seat in there real low, then drop the steering wheel down and you got a real low center of gravity that'll slide instead of tipping. If you go solid axel to both rear wheels, you'll get twice the traction. Love the show, Best of luck.

When I first found this channel, I had no idea I was going on this ride....one that has given me endless entertainment and some learning.....the fabrication projects such as this one today.....endless smiles.....my first time getting to watch someone tear apart a lawn mower for racing......as an old guy in his 60's this would have been something I would have liked to do when I was in my teens......but back then I just built bikes from junk.....great video.....
I'm 82, my Grandfather had a push mower-no engine. My father never had grass. I was way past adult before I saw a "ride on". At 11yo I made many push-bikes from junk found at the "dump"/"tip".
That kid on the side of the road - Hats off to him. He aint inside playing video games!
There always seems to be one around, like yard gnomes, appear out of the ground, hand waving, kinda spooky..

My brother used to race lawnmowers, and was back to back points champion in the series around here in Ohio...same guy that ran the derbies ran the mower races from county to county. He was in a single cylinder stock engine and body class. His mower was geared to go 60mph! One week he even took the smaller engine off of my craftsman, and STILL won!
He helped a number of friends with competitive mowers, and made a group called "Mower Shop Mafia."😅
Now his son is winning points Champion in Quarter Midget Nascar Youth Series.😊
Paul. can you please do a walk around of your fathers projects and shop space , the cars on the bank hunter spoke about and some stories around the yard growing up you can remember. that was really cool and reminded me of when i was young walking threw my grandpas shop . i completely understand if its not a topic you want to talk about or make a video, i lost my mum around the same time you lost your dad , i just turned 26 16 days ago , i love your channel since i found it in 2020 . all the best from Vancouver Island bc canada your friend Austin

2. Turbo. It really needs a turbo. Why? Because you can!

That was a fun show as usual! I built a go cart and used a rear axle out of an old golf cart and it had a brake on the pinion. Right away a posi sign!! Hope your clutch holds up. But what a blast.

You be liking that zero turn for sure! I got one, and never looked back. Yard used to take 2-3/4 hours on a 42 rider, now takes 55 minutes on my 50 rzt!

I have been meaning to say something that you guys should know. I believe you know but maybe you do not appreciate it. You have the best hardware store I have ever seen. I cannot believe the selection of everything you need in that store. At our Lowes, they do not have the stuff ( bolts) no matter what you need. Then it is shopping at every other store and hope to find what you need. sure would make building/modifying enjoyable.

I use to Dirt Kart race. Put about 1/16 to 1/8 in. toe out if oval racing, helps in the cornering. Also running a lb. or 2 more tire pressure on the outside tires helps. That shifts weight to the inside tires.
We need to hook you up with one of them kits that has all the nuts and bolts,and fasteners,like roby Layton is using save time for sure.god bless America the land that I love!!!!

reminds me of me back in day about 1978 i cut a mower up and put a Rockwell snowmobile motor in it ,out ran my buddies Honda 100 to much fun!!
😂 That's awesome. Back in the day, we made a cart and mounted a Honda 450 street bike on it. Even as an invincible kid, that thing was scary fast. Fun times though.

Your projects are Cool.. May I make a suggestion for the RAT Back Perhaps a hydraulic fold out, for the rear section??? Fold up when not in use, adding length to carry longer vehicles. Or MORE LAWNMOWERS
