What a hidden jewel this video is. What a treasure Twinkie is! To see her demeanor, facial expressions, and deportment during the sermon whilst she works, even encouraging the preacher, is so refreshing and inspiring. At 6:10-6:15 you can see and even hear her encourage the Presiding Bishop, "Yeah! COME ON!" So professional and sweetly dignified is she- always. Beautiful, funny, highly anointed, and on fire for God...
Even though this Bishop hated Mattie Moss Clark & the fact that The Clark Sisters were more popular than COGIC as a whole. He never missed a opportunity to publicly admonish the group.
@@tkc5898 That's an interesting opinion. LOL I can't speak on Bishop Patterson's hate or love for Dr. Clark, but I do know that the church of God in general is hardly about popularity. The six-million member strong Church of God in Christ is definitely not in competition with any singing group- certainly not one birthed in and still belonging to it.

@tkc Your opinion is not settled in facts nor truth. It’s based upon information you gathered from the recent movie “loosely” based upon the life of Dr. Mattie Moss Clark the Clark Sisters. Bishop J.O. Patterson did not hate the late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark or her daughters. He was very strict, nearly to a fault, concerning the religion and religious practices of the Church Of God In Christ, but he did not possess hatred for them. He was, however, very protective over those in his denomination who were becoming more popular to the world in their music ministry; and, rightly so, seeing that secularism and commercialism have nearly destroyed the testimony of the ministry of music in the Body of Christ.
tkc I disagree with that statement during that time frame the church was strict but he loved Dr. Mattie and the Clark sisters for most of his tenure they ran the music department
He was God's anointed servant! He prayers and ministry richly blessed my heart and soul.

Wow! Thank you! Please keep posting these fantastic videos. Never thought I’d see this. This was the first national COGIC Convention I can remember attending as a child. I was 4 years old. This was held in my hometown Long Beach, California. I see Twinkie on the organ!
