- North Korea's Korean Central TV released a documentary film of Kim Jong-un inspecting the trolley bus factory in Pyongyang in January, 2018.
Kim, with his wife Ri Sol-ju, held a test run of the new trolley bus model.

I like how he always has this small group of officials or generals writing stuff in little notebooks, and how he inspected every small detail on the bus for the sake of looking busy.
Just like most of our employers here in the US forces to do nonsensical tasks as a means of staying busy cuz they're afraid will stand around for 1 minute and earn a dime for doing nothing!

Ri Chun Hee is known for speaking like this when documenting about the Leader's works or achievements. I met other people in the DPRK who changed to a similar voice when talking about the Leaders, in Kumsusan Palace of the Sun for example, where the bodies of the two previous leaders are laid to rest. It's a very emotional and serious thing for the people.
Also this woman who voiced this video does not speak like this in her daily life, neither do ordinary Koreans, but the emotions are not fake, but I do get it sounds unusual for us.
Ri Chun Hee actually retired already but she still wants to do important reports, especially the birthdays of the Leaders, Public Holidays and military achievements like missile launches.

The King was not allowed to look into it, when the King died. It got compiled and the successor and future kings could read about the good and bad things he did. These were definitely bought from China. The shell the men are working on is a crude mock up, buses are not made with outer panels directly welded on. Plus that's the cleanest and emptiest bus factory I've ever seen!
I think they are not fully made in China, but most parts are from China. If you compare the busses you see a lot of differences like the height of the wipers. Bad quality of material and more.

Well of course they've been using Czechoslovakian trolley buses that East Germany gave to them in the 1970s those Metro carts better in the subway are also East German and we're giving in 1989 virtually every single modern locomotive in North Korea is either a Soviet locomotive from the 1970s or on the East German locomotive that we gave in the 19 it is and the occasional Soviet steam train from the 1960s guessing the Czechoslovakian buses they ran out of parts for them so they had to replace them with you buses if they're even making these buses they could just be importing them from China and assembling them
