- Jimmy Jump (Larry Fishburne) runs into trouble while trying to get some chicken and ribs.
From the urban crime drama classic King of New York, starring Christopher Walken, Laurence Fishburne, Wesley Snipes, David Caruso, and Giancarlo Esposito. - Krátké a kreslené filmy
I like how that order is ready in 19 seconds and Jimmy still isn't satisfied.
🤣😂😂😂😂 it was food sitting in the warmer. They just gave it to Jimmy & made 50 bucks on what they was gonna throw in the trash 🗑 two minutes before he walked in
Renaldo Powers “Fuck you very much” Jimmy NEVER paid remember 😭
Lmao, yeah he all coked out. I guess you can't refuse service to the neighborhood psychopath even if you wanted to...
lmfao
😂😂😂😂😂 He should come to 2020 and see how impatient we are
What's sad about this scene is that the order sounds so good, and they never got to eat it
😂😂😂 facts
ray fox : And it made you hungry when he was ordering it 💯
you know that they spat on the food don't you? 😀
Fuck off
ramjam25 I don’t think so they ain’t that stupid
"$56.90? Fuck you very much" - Jimmy Jump = legend
Did he not pay?
Instant karma
Didn't want to pay one way, so, he paid another way
"I don't leave no witnesses." Most Gangsta line EVA.
bumpyface228 facts
bumpyface228 Was thinking about that line right before I saw your comment!
Wanna be G's say Scarface
Real G's say this movie.
He sounded crazy and scary AF in that line
"I don't leave NO WITNESSES!!!!!"
Tina Tally 😂😂😂
Tina Tally oh yea well u must be getting old
Your beautiful !!!
Tina Tally i was just about to post that 😁
Dam ma u beat me to it
Fishburne played the complete opposite character in Boyz N the Hood just a year later
Interesting.
+reds005 And then a year later Wesley Snipes plays Nino Brown in New Jack City.
A sign of great acting.
Same voice though, Not too disguised.
Jaden Johnson ...Word!
Jimmy was a maniac but unlike Nino Brown in New Jack City he was actually nice to kids and respectful to his elders.
TripleRp I respect that a lot it’s better than these suckers nowadays
That's how they all were back in those days ; Just like Robin Hood.
@@berniemadina6145 unfortunately now they are Stone cold killers amd will shoot and kill kids now with no code at least back in the late 80s early 90s they damn well didn't kill kids now they don't give a fuck
TripleRp That’s old school.
The old lady could have thanked him when he handed her and the kids that money. Lol!
What a lot of people don't know is this was when Morpheus was still in The Matrix.
ErwinSchrodinger64 that was a funny ass comment
I'm rolling.🤣🤣🤣🤣
Cleary
Lol 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂✌
"You can start by gettin' me 15 pieces of chicken, muthafucka."
Szechuan 🤣🤣🤣
"I don't leave no witnesses!!!!"
Jason Jubert real talk
Jimmy Jumps was one of the realest goons in the history of cinema. Real street soldier.
Larry Fishburne, David Caruso, Victor Argo, and Wesley Snipes in the same room. Great cast.
“You have the right to remain silent, so shut the fuck up!” Great line 🤣
Lawrence Fishburne is absolutely incredible in this film. Feels totally different to the characters he usually plays (bosses, detectives etc.). Shows what a range he has.
Guy at the register is hard as hell. Wasn't even phased by the psycho gang Banger lol
Calinks His look is priceless! "Not this nigga again
Calinks He probably dealt with guys like Jimmy Jump all the time. Was used to it.
Calinks tarter sauce or ketchup (while looking at the pad )
Calinks jimmy not a gangbanger he's just a harden hitman
Been dealing wit that shit all day...fed up with the job... He really deserve an Oscar... disgruntled fast food worker... Genius
"Better not get none that cat, I want chicken!" LMAO
Nigga that ain't a Chinese joint!
The funny thing is I saw this listed by someone else as a Chinese joint. LOL
I think he was talkin about cat as in catfish....
quintageRMX ........really.
Jimmy Jump is quite a compassionate guy, see how he treats the kids and the old lady by giving them some coins to play the arcade games and even some money to the old lady to buy the kids more food. And I think the reason he was upset at the server for shouting at the kids is because he was treated like that as a kid by people, guessing he grew up quite poor too and couldn't really afford a lot of things so it kind of hit him close.
It Was Like That In NY In That Era. The Hustlers And Gangsters Fed The Community And Protected The Elderly And Children
Air Pegasus Same here in Philly.
D Block Peace To Philly & Shout Out To You And Yours. This Was Gangsta Code All Over From The East To The West To The South.
Air Pegasus Peace to you and yours too.
Oh most definitely! Everybody has a soft spot idc who you are 💯! We don't know much of his life but I bet you his grandmother raised him with other cousins and siblings. That's probably why him seeing that old lady with her grandkids hit him hard
Its crazy seeing Wesley going from a Cop to Nino Brown in one year after this came out and Lawrence Fishbourne going from playing this role to being Treys father in Boyz in da Hood lol.
That's acting for ya🧐😎
Shows what AWESOME actors they are.
Never thought about that. Just goes to show thier acting prowess
I love Lawrence Fishburne he is sooo versatile
he was still "larry" back then :)
funny thing is he played the opposite of this character in Boyz in the Hood.
Yup, too bad he gained weight after the 90's
They were giving his man the business outside 😂😂😂
Jimmy Jump was a savage
"I don't leave no witnesses"
Frank White and Jimmy Jump is by far the best gangster duo on film ever 👌🏾
Tony Montana and Manny are on the top 5 list.
@@MWPintheDManny was too goody boy ladies man. He ain't no serious gangster like Jimmy Jump.
@@vicvega24 Manny wasn't a stone killer...agreed.
"Y'all go play those games. No offense ma'am, but you make sure they get what they want."
Damn shame, when a gangsta treated the kids nicer than the store clerk.
That's the tragedy
He was recruiting. Get Grandma and the kids (potential drug customers) to trust him.
Seems pretty accurate to me. A Criminal behaving himself to gain misguided loyalty from a naive public.
@@MICuban77 I don't think that's why he did that at all
Wis Dom A TRUE Gangsta IS a gentleman
Unbelievable amount of talent in this film.
the walk gets me every time
LOL that dude need 30 feet of space just to walk comfortably with all that movement
it kills me too
"I don't leave no winesses!" Best line ever.
This scene makes me hungry every time. I had never considered tartar sauce on onion rings until I saw this movie.
DJ ... 🔥😁😂💀
DJ LOL got him
DJ Well played 🤣👏👏👏
frostnip You got owned, get the fock out!!
When I first saw this in the 90s I had no idea people dipped onion rings in any sauce!
Just as soon as Jimmy walks through the door that guys giving him the thousand yard stare like "Great..just what I need to make my day more pleasant". Then he gets an attitude and takes it out on the kids.
Exactly why Jimmy didn't pay him for the food. Jimmy didn't like him.
Went from $56.70 to $56.90 in 5 seconds. Damn inflation!
I always found that funny as well!
Nah my G. It’s an up charge for the Chicken instead the Cat
No wonder "Fu*k you very much!"🤣
20 cents, man... that's a 0.35% increase. Messed up... That's way more than the banks give on their interest now.
yea inflation is evil.
Jimmy was a stone cold killer but had a robin hood like personality in this scene. Excellent writing and acting
When you said "Robin Hood personality" there's a scene in Hoodlum where he had that same personality
@@mrg1534 yeah, he played Bumpy Johnson. Great movie!!!!!
This is a great scene. Just when we think "Jump" is pure evil, he has one moment of humanity.
james lachs back in the day drug dealers did stuff like that all the time in hood. They’re people too.
Of course he wants to get friendly with the kids, they are his future customers.
*Workers
@@kev3d Jimmie Jump didn't sell drugs he was muscle
True ! That makes the the charactere more interesting … Even he's a thug he's still a human being so the audience can follow him ...
the duality of him being good to the kids and then getting clipped on a murder case is amazing
The criminals do that to get the average citizen on their side. When you have a whole community backing you, it only adds to your power. Take care of the kids, donate turkeys for Thanksgiving, etc.
He's recruiting. Those kids are now less likely to rat on him, same with grandma there. They might have even joined his crew or become his "customers", had he lived.
Laurence Fishburne was so convincing acting ghetto and criminal in this movie I couldn't believe it was the same guy from The Matrix.
What's up if he was from matrix
Pookie Benny Nothing. I'm praising his acting range, that's all.
+jsphat81 ya he's pretty good at acting
+jsphat81 Hell, he played the black cowboy dude on the Pee Wee Herman show, so his range has always been all over the place off top
+jsphat81 Right! Or the very educated brother Furious Styles in the movie Boyz in The Hood.
Used to watch this movie almost everyday. Started drinking root beer because of it. This movie goes harder than Scarface. The cast was top-notch. Best gangster flick not named Casino.
Watch Millers Crossing
Birch beer, dammit lol
I love how when he is walking in the store he immediately sizes up the customer trying to exit the store, realizes he’s not a threat and proceeds to walk over and order his food.
That walk Fishburne does. Perfect for his character.
This is how I remember Big Apple from back in the day. There was so much energy and style/swagger back then. Now it’s gentrified and has become Disney Land
Yes like too many other places
Jesus..Larry Fishburne made this film kick into high gear--it gets an energy and edginess whenever he's onscreen.
TM Rezzek TRUE!
Fishburne > Ledger
" _I don't leave no witnesses!_ "
Jimmy Jump's a pretty goofy character but that was scary. Fishburne nailed this role.
"I'd better get none of that cat, I want CHICKEN!!!"
Even though Wesley Snipes first played as a cop and one year later changes his job to a drug dealer. New Jack City.
One reformed his life, the other wanted taste of the best
Stugots666x #facts they both played good ass roles 💯💯🔥🔥
@@TheArkchild morpheus and blade
In 92 fishbourne becomes a undercover cop for deep cover
Any actor who will put on a dress to get a paycheck...No wonder they locked his tail up for not paying taxes...
One of the hardest characters in the history of Cinema!
"You getting this all down chief? "Yeah yeah yeah". "Yeah yeah yeah"
Ah. Myrtle Ave. Won't see a place like that in NYC again.
Gentrified af.
Good.
IKR! Went visit....went str8 back to my country ass city St.Louis! F@$! a latte'!
@Der Ost Front:
Nothing here was ever ALL "whites" anything! Except for lice.
@Der Ost Front:
The leprous ilk never created or built anything since they were brought over here as slaves. What are you trying to explain?
@Der Ost Front :
Oh, okay...
0:10 I love Lawrence Fishburn's walk. So Gangsta wit it
Gotta Love this New York Acting Crew. They all got a bump in their Careers after this one.
damn they got that order quick
typical fast food- sitting under heat lamps
Did he say he was finished?!😂😂😂
*Fun facts:* Lawrence Fishburne also played the cowboy on Peewee playhouse
D.S.G.B Grady BabyTM Cowboy Curtis .
Cowboy Curtis!! And the young private in Apocalypse Now!! And played in Cornbread, Earl and me.
Howdy Doody and the Chocolate Wonder.
He play cowboy Curtis in peewee playhouse
A 20 cent tax for chicken instead of cat.
👋😷🍻😂👍💬
" HOW MUCH? 56.90?? FUCK YOU VERY MUCH!"
Laurence Fishburne was a straight savage in this movie. He even went out crazy like a true G.
"And I better not get none of that cat, I want chicken!"
Still laugh at that.
Me too, the film had great dialogue, very quotable.
They cook that shit quick, god dam😄..this was and still is my favorite movie of all time
"$56.90?...FUCK YOU VERY MUCH".
this scene made me hungry as hell all that food he was ordering and he was hella good actor playing a thug fa real
alot of the mom and pop chicken restaurants in the boroughs of NYC made the food ahead of time back in the days and kept them warm under heat lamps. the whole made to order concept wasnt popular yet cuz those days quick and fast orders were convenient.
Back in the days? They still do that. You get dried out shit from KFC
WOW so happy I never grew up in NYC or Harlem thank God.
@Admiral Talax which KFC??? Kentucky or Kennedy?
Kennedy, that shit was a heart stopper
One of my favorite movies and favorite scenes in the movie.
BigJyeTV Fishburne was terrific in this movie. Great actor.
joe dowd yes indeed!
Wow didn't know that... Could you imagine that?
I didn't know you could request chicken instead of cat.....all this time.....
In the D.C. area, I think it's either squirrel or field mouse that's served up in place of chicken at the Chinese joints
Yes, I always ask the Chinese to fry my cat hard.hee hee.😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Its an inner city thing
@@TheNumbasign2 for sure and you might can get bat fried hard hee hee 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
You been eatin CAT!!
at least he gave grandma and the kids a little something before he got snatched up and one more thing he doesn't leave Witnesses
Greg Money Right! Not every gangster was bad! I wished people understood that instead if they cared about the kids
Didn't leave a tip, though.
91Definite dumbass comment of the video
@@The1969Vintage There was nobody left alive to witness if he left a tip. Even if anyone saw it, they wouldn't be so forthcoming with any information about the transaction they witnessed in the first place 😉!
@@The1969Vintage and he didn't pay either.
Surely Fishburne and Caruso's finest acting. Even Snipes and Walken play arguably their best characters too. 1st minutes slow, last minutes slow, everything in between is nonstop action.
When he said “ I don’t LEAVE NO WITNESSESSSSS “. I flinched.
Hahahahaha!!! I love how at the end of the scene instead of running away the kids run back to the table!
Jimmy Jump Killed His Role He Outshined Every Actor In This Movie
"I don't leave no witnesses."
That was really nice when he gave them kids money to play games.he had a good heart.i ve done the same thing for people that were also poor and disenfranchised. Kids shouldn't go hungry.giving that old lady more money to buy them more food was really nice.
That's the hook. Plus, it's drug money, not like he actually had to put in an 8-10 hr shift 6 days weekly.
"I don't want any of dat cat, I want chicken! "
I've never seen a drug dealer with that much change on them.
A lot of payphones in the city back then.
Steve Anderson He wasn't a drug dealer. He was muscle, an enforcer.
I have, they exist in Chicago. Especially the older gang leaders.
@@sapher2020 this is the correct answer!
Shhhiiiitttt crack heads always coming with change I never hustled but my cousin did and he took it all change, food stamps, if it spends he took it
Classic Snipes and fishburne
No matter how well and convincingly Fishburne played this character, it still doesn't make up for the character's stupidity to think that an order that big could be filled in 2 minutes!
this scene is to blame for me ordering like a fool at any fast food joint when I'm fucked up.....
The difference is Jump can be "fucked up" and still kill pigs by the lots
I DON'T LEAVE NO WITNESSES... This Movie was so Good.. #Classic
Myrtle and broadway baby. Same intersection used in GHOST. A classic New York landmark.
I don't want none of that cat neither I want chicken!
That’s gonna be a $. 20 up charge for that
I never saw the rest of the movie and have no context for this scene whatsoever but I know to a certainty that that is the most gangster motherfucker ever depicted in the history of motion picture.
I am always touched by scenes like this... always give back no matter what
Totally fell in love with Jimmy Jump!! 💘 🚗" Betta not get none of that cat!" 🐱 💘 🚗 🔫 😍 🐱 🚗 💘
Despite being a Gangster, he had heart by giving them kids some quarters their Grandmother some $$$. Jimmy Jump A Class Act Gangster🙌🙌🙌🙌
I've been to that chicken spot in the bronx and they are slow as hell, but he got the food in 37 seconds😂😂
Who remembers acting so good and compelling, you had to remind yourself your watching ACTORS in a movie lol. Powerful scene can't believe the level of realism 30 years later still👏🏽👍🏽
The last time I saw Laurence Fishburn it looked like he actually ate this whole order himself..........not only that, but how the hell does this place NOT have potato salad??
Marc L. same way they don't have root beer
+wilson blauheuer BIRCH BEER
LMFAO yeah he blew up like a Tick in a Blood Bank
Jimmy Jump was drinking root beer the whole movie
THE FIRST TOTAL WAS 56.70 THEN IT WENT UP TO 56.90 LOL!!!!
I say the same thing every time the Cops come to get him, "Don't take him yet, let him have his chicken"!
The first hip hop gangster.
This scene makes me hungry. Ive never tried onion rings with tartar sauce
"ima slap the black off you"
God this movie rules. Even David Caruso was awesome and I can't say that very often.
Wayne Shields god i hates when he takes off his sunglasses on CSI. I wnat to just punch him in the face.
Dareese Hunter You...
"Don't shoot me! Don't shoot me!" That crew gave no fucks. They joked about murkin' fools like they were Morris Day and Jerome.
Lmao for real

How much for a soda? $1.00?! Come on man, why don't you look out for a brotha? Why do you let me get a sip for 15 cent? XD
My Cccccccccups cost more than 15 Cents ...

"You have the right to remain silent, so shut the fuck up." Classic!
Laurence fishburne was the coolest gangster ever in this movie.
“Larry Fishburnes is a on screen genius... and jimmy jumps character in a masterpiece... but to switch from in the hood thug to kind St. Nick to that old lady and the children is a thing of BEAUTY👀😉😌😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I love the part, when he gave money to those kids to play those games, some gangsters have a heart
Guilty conscience. All the crack babies and lives they destroy as they prey on their own people. They are like Robin hood, steal from the poor to get rich and then hand out some turkeys on thanksgiving to make everything equal.
It's also to help foster trust in the community, so when it comes time for them to get arrested none of the community will testify against them. The mafia did the same thing while extorting it's community
I don't leave no witnesses
I like this scene!!! His interaction with the children showed that he still had compassion despite being ruthless
The fact he threw all that food away hurts my soul to this day.
0:54 Yeah that's it!
1:30 Did I say I was finished! LOL!!!
Man, i love the way Fushburne walks in this masterpíece!!
One of the best and underrated movies 🎥 ever.
Nice to those kids and grandma
This was more dramatic than a tyler perry movie. Fish a monster when he play savage roles tho-- Whats love got to do w/ it, and Hoodlum, for ex
