Richard, I think you should keep on having adventures and have them all on this channel. I hate traveling alone because I'm easily lost. Watching you do it, I can drink in the new experiences without the anxiety of having to find my way in a strange place. Of course I can't help feeling a little anxious for you, vicariously, but you remain calm and all is well.
Thanks Lucy!
1 channel is good, it's all Richard outdoors....
As with all my fave channels, the presenter/presenters are what keep me entertained. I reckon it's ok to keep everything on one channel, if that makes it simpler to manage. Love seeing more parts of the world with your point of view. Reckon you gained a few fans there. 😀
Wow, thank you!
Stealth camping in India: leopards and tigers and cobras oh my! In England: robins and squirrels and badgers, oh whee!
Yes Richard we would love to see you do your travels on u tube
Hi Richard, i for one enjoy your travel videos. I think you should just stick with and concentrate on one channel. Thanks for taking us along on your trip. 😎🇬🇧
I would keep to one channel Richard. For those that aren’t interested they don’t have watch it
Richard. Stay here, where you are. You film, edit and produce the content and we will watch it because of you. You are Outdoors, and in India you were outdoors. Even if you were indoors, wherever, it would still be connected to travel and outdoors, like sitting at a sewing machine making something or visiting such a place were everything is indoors, because of the weather. You go out, you provide us with entertainment and we love it, at least I do. Thank you.
Thanks Stephen!
I know they don't get as many views Richard but I personally love the travel videos. Keep it up!
More to come!
Richard. We love watching whatever you do. Your travel ones interspersed with bushcraft ones works well for us!! Keep on keeping on x x
Thanks, will do!
Looking quickly through the comments it looks like most people are happy to watch Richard outdoors just about anywhere in the world😊 Yes please - same channel. . . .
Well, Richard, Julie and I hope to be two of your(four) regular subscribers and viewers (!), and we've just returned from two weeks without t'internet and started with your two week old post. Unsure what the pressures of the medium are regarding what you should post, but you're uniquely positioned to post some very interesting, insightful, and unusual stuff, and you have done that splendidly here. This was brave, enjoyable, and very interesting - so, whether you would prefer to do it separately as another channel, do it. We'll follow. Simple bushcraft and foods at home or further afield are also excellent. We wish you well, and best to your family. J&A&B&T
I'd watch your travel channel, Richard. You go to fascinating places with your job. Beautiful palace.
Many thanks!
Really enjoy your travel post l love India to travel in the people are so friendly
It really is!
Keep on kepin on. Very interesting, lets see some more.
Richard's outdoor travels!!!
Hi Richard love the vlog I enjoy all your vlogs. Makes no difference to me if your camping or travelling its all interesting I love it. Keep it up 👍👍
Thanks 👍
Just give it a go ,it's a interesting idea, xx be safe
5 day BLR… luxury! 🙂
Enjoyed it Rich… keep up the good work!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was fun Richard!! It's always fun when you do something a little different, and you are one of the few who do! I won't be visiting India any time soon, so I appreciate getting a look around from your point of view! I wouldn't start a new Channel unless you plan on doing quite a few travels videos. Of course, if it works out that you do, it'll be easy to steer viewers over to either channel whenever you want.
Richard, do what you think is best for you. It's your channel for sharing your experiences wherever they may be👍🙏
I appreciate that!
@@RichardOutdoors oh and your home town was wet this morning on our way back across the Pennines from York into Lancaster 😁
@@mrjenks1965 it certainly is!
Same Channel Richard. Amazing Video. Thanks.
Thanks for watching!
One channel Richard; it’s all interesting and we look forward to each instalment.
I like the travel videos and I don't mind having them on the main channel. Great video!
I enjoy all your adventures Richard, be it camping, travelling, biking or something entirely different like this, keep up the great work! Selfishly, I am looking forward to seeing what you've learned from the cooking lessons!
One channel is all good with me Richard. I like the mix of camping travel and of course cooking just works fine for me, but what ever you decide to do I will watch and enjoy as always.
Fair enough!
Really enjoyed your time in India let’s have more
I love seeing your travels! Thank you for filming all this.
Personally I’m not a lover of spin off channels but hey each to their own. Looking forward to when you can get out wild camping again or making new camping related equipment 😊
Awesome, thank you!
I think your videos should stay on this channel. It's called Richard Outdoors so I'm sure that regular viewers won't be bothered whether it's this kind of video or you're out camping locally. We'll still watch.
I love the travel videoes! I don’t really have an opinion about the second channel. Whatever works for you.
Ok thanks!
Delightful! Thank you Richardventures
Andy from Kent survival was my first bushcraft channel and I enjoy watching him at camping, but I have less than zero interest in E bikes so I don’t follow his other channel, for me I’m interested in travel videos so which ever way you decide I will watch, so if you decide to start a new channel I will be happy to subscribe, and if just want to post them here I will watch them gladly, I just wanted to say I really enjoyed your San Francisco bike trip so keep up the great videos.
Loving this vicarious global exploring. Happy to have it on the same channel, but if you decide to do a seperate one, I'll subscribe to that too. All the best etc...
Hi Richard I started watching your channel and others for the camping but if you get to like the presenter I find I will watch whatever they film. I watch Andy(Kent survival) and Simon (bloke in the woods) and others because they are good at what they do I don’t see the need for separate channels. Love Andy’s new e-bike channel but just keep it one channel I think it’s down to personalities. I subscribe to Adam the Woo in Florida not particularly because of where he goes but because of his wacky personality and how he presents his channel. Love your stuff mate😊
Hi, for myself I love both bushcraft and travels, keep it all here!
Good choice!
Keep doing what you are doing.
Hey Richard! A travel channel would be awesome! I like all of you videos. I would watch you make a peanut and jelly sandwich. Keep up the good content.
I, for one, would love a travel channel. Especially the ones that DON'T do the well known tourist spots. The ones that show REAL LIFE of the countries are fascinating. Good luck to you, if you choose to do that. I'm in.
Noted!
Great video. Would enjoy more of this type of content from a fellow fearless traveler (I am always comfortable finding my way in foreign environments).
I truly appreciate the travel vids!
Keep everything on the one channel Richard - it makes an interesting change 👍
Loved the rawness of this video, complete with the uncertainty I imagine I would also feel. Keep things simple, all on one channel.
Thanks! Will do!
Please don’t add a channel just show us your travels….something different. Loved this India 🇮🇳 trip!
We watch and enjoy all your videos, whatever they are about, so it's all okay on one channel for us. Keep up the good work.
I appreciate that!
Keep the same channel and let your subscribers choose whether to watch the travel videos or not. Personally i find it fascinating to see a country that i will never travel too 😊
Ok thanks!
What a great video Richard!
For me you should stick with the 1 channel for now, but I would subscribe to a side channel anyway 👍🏻
Deal!
I think you should stick to the one channel. You’re Richard Outdoors…that pretty much covers all eventualities!
Richard, I enjoy your videos whatever the subject. After all, it's you & your sensibilities & outlook on your life & what you're doing that "makes" the channel for me. One channel works just fine but I could & would follow both if that's what you chose to do. I'd say...whatever you think would be easier on you. Just keep up the lovely work. Many thanks for that.
Wow, thank you!
The adventures you have! Definitely share some more around your travels on this channel , after all you’re still ‘outdoors!’ 😊
That's the plan! Xx
Richard Love your posts on cooking, camping & travel. It’s all an adventure and fun to watch. Will follow but hope you keep everything in one channel.
Thanks, will do!
Watching now, and like your new friends: “I am very happy with you” 😜👌
😁
I liked it. I liked your San Fran video also. The street level travel videos are fun to watch.
Awesome, thank you!
I watch your channel for you, your style and content whatever that maybe. I would say keep it all on this channel.
Great video.
Thanks! Will do!
Hi Richard. We love your videos and would be happy to see your travel ones mixed with your camping videos on this CZcams channel
Will do!
Hi Richard, thoroughly enjoyed the video, Really enjoyed both train journeys and the Palace, I really enjoy your travel videos and if you choose to start another channel then you have my support and subscription, Thank you for sharing
Many thanks!
Interesting video and it's good for a change (my father was born in Bangalore) . I feel a second channel would be better as international travel is a bit of a jump from bushcraft. I guess the analogy would be if I went out for curry but the restaurant decided to sometimes sell Chinese instead and I was looking forward to a curry I'd probably look for another restaurant. And ending up with a bed instead of a seat is pretty much my luck 🤣p.s I still use my Fire Trough Mini most days.
Some good analogies there. Food for thought. Many thanks.
Keep your channel the same I enjoyed it the way it is just my thought . It seems like China with curry
I'd say 70/30 for subscriptions is the presenter/content so keep everything on the one channel, label it clearly and do separate playlists. Don't stress on the stats as it will still be better than starting from scratch. Keep on keeping on and do what you enjoy, you'll have a better channel overall as a result 😊
Fair enough!
As others have said, we watch for you and your outdoors adventures. Keep it all on the one channel and those that don't want to see overseas adventures will just have to wait for your return to the woods.
Thanks pal. That seems to be the theme! Hope we can get out again soon mate.
@@RichardOutdoors that would be awesome 👍
I’m not sure you should start a seperate channel, coz you’re still outdoors, just a different aspect to it all. I love watching your travel content you make, it’s very interesting to see places I probably will never travel too. So if you combine it with your bushcraft content, it will be really interesting. But great video and thanks for posting 👍
Ok thanks!
Stay with one channel please.
Brilliant video....😂😂😂 loved it👍👍👍
Thank you so much 😀
Already more than four views Richard! 😂 From your loyal insta follower 👍
Legend!
Hey Richard, bits of your trip reminded me of some of my trip to Cambodia. (An incredible place!) I watch quite a few travel videos as there are some incredible ones. A travel channel may be a good idea as it has its own audience.
Cool, thanks
Enjoyed this video Richard, I’d certainly watch your travel vids, not sure if they need to be on a new channel that’s up to you really, but I’d watch them.
Many thanks!
Excellent video, your the new Mr palin, Michael is nearly as funny as you but not quite. I watch all your vids and enjoy the variety. Channels for me are the personality of the presenter not the subject so keep it to one channel.
Awesome, thank you!
Keep it the same. That's one of the things I enjoy...what's Richard going to share next.
That's the plan!
it would be good to see a food blog of you travels mate
Good idea!
was the statute an Indian wicket-keeper
Hello Richard, whilst it maybe extra work I think starting a separate channel for your work related travels would be the best option. That way people could choose and make it easier for you to see what does and doesn’t work 👍
Food for thought. Thanks for the comment.
I think you should record your all your travels and just put them on this channel. I'm not a fan of the spin off channels and half the time they seem to flop unless you've got a massive channel in the first place, such as kent survival. Personally, I love your travel videos the best out of the content you produce. Perhaps this channel could be just everything you do - a sort of 'Richard's Adventures' whatever they are ... whether they are flying, travelling, cooking, bushcraft, making stuff, camping, etc, just put the lot on this channel. You seem to do too many things to split them out into different channels. So once you have an outdoors channel and a travel channel you'll be left wondering whether you should also have a 'making stuff' channel, a cooking channel, etc.Your activities also seem to have a lot of cross-overs which will make life complicated. For example, what if you cook and camp in a bushcraft style whilst travelling in South Africa? You'll then be torn whether to put the video on your travel channel, cooking channel, bushcraft channel, etc. I think doing that is going to just give you a headache and you'll get burnt out with the whole thing. I'd suggest keeping it simple.
Sounds like a plan! Thanks
Hey, Mr O! We loved this video… you made us chuckle a few times, as always 🤗. We would happily subscribe to your second channel and think it should be called: Richard Abroad 👍🏻👍🏻🛩️. What do you think? S & D 🙂🙃
But I’m not a Broad? 😉
@@RichardOutdoors Groan 😩!!! That was terrible, Mr O!! 😁😂😂😂
I'd stick with one channel, but title them Travel Vlog or similar, so its down to the person to choose to watch or not. Its fairly common for videos that arrnt the core content to get fewer views, mostly why people atart a second review channel etc...
Agree!
I think you should keep everything on one channel. India is no place I personally have any desire to visit. I won’t go into all my reasons. I know you Brits have a fascination for the place and I respect that. Keep up the good videos and I’m looking forward to the next one!
I'm not sure if there is any significant overlap between people who watch travel videos and people who watch outdoors content... I personally don't care for travel videos, I'd say I'm even against it (never got the point of traveling for the sake of it; travel to do a job and maybe see the sights along the way, but just traveling somewhere ... why?), but I can ignore the ones I don't like since it's doubtful they'd become the main content of the channel. Two channels would be fine, but then you might not be able to attract the sort of viewers who like to watch travel videos, because if the content isn't regularly updated, it will attract less viewers - and you'd have two channels to keep track of. So one channel is fine, as long as it doesn't turn into Richard Outdoors Attempting To Look Like Michael Palin Travel Programmes or something along that vein.
Please no spin-off channel. I think people are more receptive to a variety of content than you think. No doubt some will complain but they will be an extreme (but vocal minority). You’ll be fine without them
