There are some “Muslims” who follow a movement which rejects authentic Hadiths, hence, deviating from the path of mainstream Islam. They reject many fundamental aspects of Islam. They mislead other by claiming to be true adherents of Islam by presenting their views as the mainstream opinion, which is far from true. The ummah (nation) of Muhammad (ﷺ) accepts the Qur’an and authentic Hadiths as legitimate forms of sources for deriving Islamic laws as both are a guidance from Allāh ﷻ

3:58:57 common claim is that “hikma” refers to “hadith” of the prophet. Same argument made by Shafi long ago.
As an example of a modern day rebuttal see chapter 7 of brother Naveed’s work:
Chapter 07
Al-Hikma (A Separate Revelation from the Qur'an?)
The previous chapters present much evidence to conclude that the true Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah was to live by the Qur’an, preach by the Qur’an, judge by the Qur’an, and give explanations by the Qur’an. However, sometimes human beings get stuck on an idea that they have been programmed with and they would look for any and every excuse to somehow validate that idea.
The proponents of Hadith are no different. They now come back and site the following Ayah to suggest that Allah revealed at least two different revelations to the Prophet Muhammad, one being the Book , and the other being the Wisdom :
“…For Allah has sent down to you the Book and the Wisdom and taught you what you knew not…” (4:113)
We will see that just like al-Dhikr (The Reminder), al-Hikma (The Wisdom) is also an attribute of the Qur’an. The Qur’an is not just a Book of laws and regulations. It also contains the Wisdom behind those laws and regulations. Thus when Allah says “Book and Wisdom”, He is emphasizing that it is a “written record” that contains “the wisdom” behind the written statements.
We will now look at the Qur’an to establish the meaning of “Al-Hikma”. As we have established before that the delivery or “Balagha” of the Messenger is the Qur’an, we start with the Ayah that relates the Balagha to the Hikma:
“There has already come to them recitals wherein there is (enough) to check; delivery of Wisdom - but the preaching of warners profits them not.” (54:4-5)
Here the delivery is that of Hikma. As we have seen above that the delivery is from the Book of Allah. Therefore, this Ayah establishes that Hikma is from the Book and not outside.
Then in the following Ayah, Allah establishes that The Qur’an is the Hikma:
“These are of the Wisdom , which your Lord has revealed to you. Take not, with Allah, another object of Worship, lest you should be thrown into hell, blameworthy and rejected” (17:39).
This Ayah clearly establishes that part of the Hikma revealed to the Messenger is that he “Take not, with Allah, another object of Worship, lest you should be thrown into hell, blameworthy and rejected”, which is part of the Qur’an.
Then,
“This is what We rehearse to you of the Ayaat and the Reminder of Wisdom ” (3:58)
Note here that Allah ties Wisdom to the Dhikr, which we have already established to be the Qur’an. It is also important to note that the “Reminder of Wisdom” is to be recited . The only thing that the Muslims recite is the Qur’an. No one ever recites Hadith. Thus the Hikma is just another attribute of the Qur’an.
Also interesting to note is that the teaching of the Messenger of the Book and the Wisdom is always tied to him reciting the Ayaat of the Qur’an; see for example:
“Allah did confer a great favor on the believers when He sent among them a Messenger from among themselves, reciting to them the Ayaat of Allah, purifying them, and teaching them the Book and the Wisdom, while before that they were in manifest error” (3:164)
Allah further says that He ONLY instructs us to RECITE His Book and NOTHINGH ELSE:
“And is it NOT ENOUGH for them that We have sent down to you the Book, which is Recited to them? Verily, in it is Mercy and Reminder to those who believe” (29:51)
Allah leaves no doubt that it is the Book that He wants us to Recite. Again notice that everything outside of the Book is excluded by this Ayah. Thus if Hikma, or Dhikr were “other revelations” outside of the Book then this Ayah excludes them.
Note here again in 29:51 that what is sent down is of the Book only (and that is enough), which further confirms that Hikma is included in the Book.
We now look at another evidence that al-Hikma is something that is to be recited. We see that Allah commanded the wives of the Messenger to recite al-Hikmah:
Wazakurna ma_ yutla_ fi buyu_tikun na min a_ya_til la_hi wal hikmah inal la_ha ka_na latifan khabira
"And bear in mind that which is recited in your houses of the revelations of Allah and wisdom . Lo! Allah is Subtile, Aware." (33:34)
This verse, along with the above evidence leaves no doubt that Hikmah was to be recited, and that it is just another attribute of the Qur’an. However, some people say that “Yutla” does not necessarily mean “to recite” but could also mean “to read from memory”. They insist that in this Ayah, the Hadith of the Prophet are included and his wives are instructed to read the verses of the Qur’an as well as the Hadith of the Prophet. This claim is not only baseless but quite funny. First of all, the Qur’an uses the words “Tilawa”, “yatlu”, “Tatlu” , etc. explicitly for RECITATION of the VERSES of the QUR’AN. In addition, the reading of the Hadith for the wives would create a very comical situation. It would be interesting for the wives of the Prophet to be reciting that “The Messenger stood up by a wall and urinated”, and that “The Messenger had sex with 9 women in one night”, and that “Messenger poked out the eyes of some people and cut their hands and feet and put them up on the wall to die”, and that “Messenger told us not to write the Hadith but we are writing it anyway” (please see these Hadith in the Appendix). I hope the proponents of Hadith see the ridiculousness of their concocted “explanation”.
Allah clearly explains to us that Wisdom is an attribute of the Qur’an:
“Alif Laam Ra. These are the Verses of the Book of Wisdom ” (10:1)
“Alif Lam Mim. These are the Verses of the Book of Wisdom” (31:1-2)

Almost every Hadeeth Rejector who came on this stream was insincere, rude, ignorant or an outright liar. Subhan'Allah I had no ideas how misguided and deviant they are.

I had time to watch more of this live stream discussion, and it's very helpful as highlights the way the "Quran only" approach, hadith rejection is very misguided. Jazak'Allah Khair.
Pardon me. I'll stop after this one. The first two speakers immediately mentioned 59-7 "What the MESSENGER has given you take it." This verse is concerning the spoils of war NOT hadith. Strange how you constantly catch Christians using verse out of context in hundreds of videos YET forget to apply the same intelligence to your own belief system. Im a huge fan of the 3 Brothers I recognize and think you do excellent jobs debating the concept of oneness and the self sufficient nature of God. Again, i can't understand why you would imagine the Faith was not "Completed" as the book says and that Allah needed others to add a bit extra. It's like an instruction manual for an instruction manual. Its man worship. Simple and plain. Allah alone guides. Alone.
The second part of that verse applies to obedience of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in all matters of deen and not just in spoils of war.
From various Quranic verses we can confirm that we are obliged to obey the Messenger of Alläh in all matters, this is the Command from Allah! The Lord of the worlds.
For one to reject a verified and an authentic Hadith, is to reject the words of the Messenger of Alläh. To reject the words of the Messenger, is to reject the Command of Allah. To reject the Command of Alläh is disobedience of Alläh.
As for those who disobey Allah and His Messenger and overstep His limits, We will admit them into a Fire, remaining in it timelessly, forever. They will have a humiliating punishment. (Surat an-Nisa` 4: 14)

It was very difficult for me, because my mom was noch just like its easier that why she doesnt believe in hadiths. She is very sternly with her ideology. As for our Hadith rejectors, if you are truly muslim, learn about ur deen and don't follow ur desires, may Allah guide you all. The Dawahwise team, for a topic you could cover next if you not already thinking of it. Ahmedis, they are very secretive and alot of the muslim ummah don't know much about them. 13:40 ... فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْبَلَٰغُ وَعَلَيْنَا ٱلْحِسَابُ
14:52 هَٰذَا بَلَٰغٌ لِّلنَّاسِ ...
16:35 ... فَهَلْ عَلَى ٱلرُّسُلِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
16:82 فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
21:106 إِنَّ فِى هَٰذَا لَبَلَٰغًا لِّقَوْمٍ عَٰبِدِينَ
21:107 وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
21:108 قُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
21:109 فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ ءَاذَنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍۖ
وَإِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ
21:110 إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْتُمُونَ
21:111 وَإِنْ أَدْرِى لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتْنَةٌ لَّكُمْ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
21:112 قَٰلَ رَبِّ ٱحْكُم بِٱلْحَقِّۗ
وَرَبُّنَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ
24:54 ... وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
29:18 ... وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
36:17 وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
42:48 ... إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ...
46:35 ... بَلَٰغٌۚ ...
64:12 ... فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
72:23 إِلَّا بَلَٰغًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦۚ
وَمَن يَعْصِ ٱللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُۥ فَإِنَّ لَهُۥ نَارَ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا
Al-Ma'idah 5:67
يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِن رَّبِّكَۖ وَإِن لَّمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُۥۚ وَٱللَّهُ يَعْصِمُكَ مِنَ ٱلنَّاسِۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
O Messenger, announce that which has been revealed to you from your Lord, and if you do not, then you have not conveyed His message. And Allah will protect you from the people. Indeed, Allah does not guide the disbelieving people.
Al-Ahzab 33:39
ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَٰلَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُۥ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ حَسِيبًا
[Allah praises] those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.
Al-Ahqaf 46:23
قَالَ إِنَّمَا ٱلْعِلْمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَأُبَلِّغُكُم مَّآ أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِۦ وَلَٰكِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُونَ
He said, "Knowledge [of its time] is only with Allah, and I convey to you that with which I was sent; but I see you [to be] a people behaving ignorantly."

[6:115] The word of your Lord is complete,* in truth and justice. Nothing shall abrogate His words. He is the Hearer, the Omniscient.
[6:116] If you obey the majority of people on earth, they will divert you from the path of GOD. They follow only conjecture; they only guess.

3:128 لَيْسَ لَكَ مِنَ ٱلْأَمْرِ شَىْءٌ ...
3:154... قُلْ إِنَّ ٱلْأَمْرَ كُلَّهُۥ لِلَّهِ ...

21:107 وَمَآ أَرْسَلْنَٰكَ إِلَّا رَحْمَةً لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
21:108 قُلْ إِنَّمَا يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ أَنَّمَآ إِلَٰهُكُمْ إِلَٰهٌ وَٰحِدٌۖ فَهَلْ أَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ
21:109 فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُلْ ءَاذَنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ سَوَآءٍۖ
وَإِنْ أَدْرِىٓ أَقَرِيبٌ أَم بَعِيدٌ مَّا تُوعَدُونَ
21:110 إِنَّهُۥ يَعْلَمُ ٱلْجَهْرَ مِنَ ٱلْقَوْلِ وَيَعْلَمُ مَا تَكْتُمُونَ
21:111 وَإِنْ أَدْرِى لَعَلَّهُۥ فِتْنَةٌ لَّكُمْ وَمَتَٰعٌ إِلَىٰ حِينٍ
21:112 قَٰلَ رَبِّ ٱحْكُم بِٱلْحَقِّۗ
وَرَبُّنَا ٱلرَّحْمَٰنُ ٱلْمُسْتَعَانُ عَلَىٰ مَا تَصِفُونَ
24:54 ... وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
29:18 ... وَمَا عَلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
36:17 وَمَا عَلَيْنَآ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
42:48 ... إِنْ عَلَيْكَ إِلَّا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ...
46:35 ... بَلَٰغٌۚ ...
64:12 ... فَإِن تَوَلَّيْتُمْ فَإِنَّمَا عَلَىٰ رَسُولِنَا ٱلْبَلَٰغُ ٱلْمُبِينُ
72:23 إِلَّا بَلَٰغًا مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَرِسَٰلَٰتِهِۦۚ

ٱلَّذِينَ يُبَلِّغُونَ رِسَٰلَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ وَيَخْشَوْنَهُۥ وَلَا يَخْشَوْنَ أَحَدًا إِلَّا ٱللَّهَۗ وَكَفَىٰ بِٱللَّهِ حَسِيبًا
[Allah praises] those who convey the messages of Allah and fear Him and do not fear anyone but Allah. And sufficient is Allah as Accountant.
Al-Ahqaf 46:23
قَالَ إِنَّمَا ٱلْعِلْمُ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَأُبَلِّغُكُم مَّآ أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِۦ وَلَٰكِنِّىٓ أَرَىٰكُمْ قَوْمًا تَجْهَلُونَ
He said, "Knowledge [of its time] is only with Allah, and I convey to you that with which I was sent; but I see you [to be] a people behaving ignorantly."

ٱتَّخَذُوٓا۟ أَيْمَٰنَهُمْ جُنَّةً فَصَدُّوا۟ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُمْ سَآءَ مَا كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ
ذَٰلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ءَامَنُوا۟ ثُمَّ كَفَرُوا۟ فَطُبِعَ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمْ فَهُمْ لَا يَفْقَهُونَ
When the hypocrites come to you, [O Muhammad], they say, "We testify that you are the Messenger of Allah." And Allah knows that you are His Messenger, and Allah testifies that the hypocrites are liars.
They have taken their oaths as a cover, so they averted [people] from the way of Allah. Indeed, it was evil that they were doing.
That is because they believed, and then they disbelieved; so their hearts were sealed over, and they do not understand.
I am not sure why these Hadeeths rejecters themselves cant come up with one understanding of the Quran, ask them about all the issues and they will all differ on every issue.
MasyaAllah, it's a good topic.. The issues of hadith are always being my concern for several months. The fact that even in the Bukhari there is some problematic hadiths (I.e the time of isra' & Mi'raj and story of Prophet's suicidal attempt) which still considered "shahih" is bothering me so much "how about the rest of the Bukhari? Can we still 100% relying on this narrator? And how about shahih hadiths from other narator i.e Muslim etc?" Please guys enlighten me, jazakallah.
The hadith about the suicide attempt is a disconnected report actually.
@Nas - no that's not true. We know there are disconnected reports in bukhari, there is only a few of them, we already know which ones. So you can't say that none of bukhari's hadiths are authentic.

As a guy who love history by reading and understanding History books from throughout the years with all the names of the kings battles what policy they did...etc these Hadith rejectors would reject all of that history, just because they can't trust who wrote them because they didn't live at that time.

The Quran says that Allah guides your heart. When Allah guides your heart, you can't be wrong or go astray. Allah wanted to preserve the Quran only, so HE did guide the hearts of those who wrote the Quran. Allah did not guide the hearts of the same people who wrote the Hadith. Allah did not specify that HE will preserve the Hadith too. Therefore, if they are not guided in writing the Hadith, then they could go wrong and astray. Therefore, the arguments that we should believe in the Hadith because it was written by the same person who wrote the quran does not hold true. The Quran is preserved, but the Hadith is not.
