- Joe went live on Instagram, answering questions. Someone asked why he left Combi, he repeated the question as he read it, and this is his candid answer.
The full 25-minute video covered his audition for Helmet, his friendship and gigs with Wes Borland, the new Aesthetic Perfection album, tour, and VIP packages, Rammstein, vitamins, poop, and the health properties of garlic.

This is man who’s taking accountability for his actions. No one is perfect, but he’s being sincere.
He seems super happy with Aesthetic Perfection now, so I'm happy for him.
Me too but I miss hi I'm in Combichrist but they have a new drummer in their latest video "undersrand"
It’s great to see him as part of Aesthetic Perfection.
I am so sorry you left Combichrist. You are an amazing artist. I applaud you for achieving sobriety and hope you goals now will be fulfilled and you are happy 🤘🖤🖤🖤🤘
i play with combichrist for a show , we were the support band and this guy here is amazing , treated me fine and was allways a gentleman , so sad to see that he`s gone from combi, cheer up man , you are a beast of a musician.
Combi now has Dane White and Will Spod on drums and percussion, and Joe is in Aesthetic Perfection now - he seems really happy too, looks like the decision worked for him
We love you! To see you happy and fulfilled makes any bad news worth hearing. Total support!
You are an amazing drummer. Phenomenal sober, just saw you with Aesthetic Perfection last night and you were fire
too bad that Joe realy left, i wish they could organize reunion with Gregory, Trevor and Joe, to make the Combichrist great again:)
Everyone moved on, they're still a great live act. And the line-up has always changed over the years, which makes it interesting - to hear the songs played different ways by different people. I miss those guys, but also Abbey and Brent and Shaun F and Jon Horton and Mr Petersen and Oumi....etc. A proper reunion gig would have about 20 people onstage.
They will one day
Thanks Joe for being so candid and open about your sobriety. I really respect people who get sober and get honest about their life. It seems like you're being really mature about everything. Best of luck to you and your new endeavors. Sobriety can be such a hard thing to maintain. I speak from my own life experience. I had a little bit of success with AA and then slipped back into my old ways over a period of time. I hope your success with sobriety never fades. Much love to you and thanks for all the tunes!
Glad I got to see you live and up close before you had to leave the band. I hope you keep going with your amazing talent. Combichrist is my favorite band 😢
I really understand your decision! I know how it feels to spend so much time and energy in a band and something changes...
It‘s only sadly for fans like me to miss your Energy in this Band 😏
Thanks for all the years!
All the best for you!!!
You are so polite. You just need a sober enviroment without all the temptation of getting a "buzz" again. Sure of your feelings for the members but party party party - been there done that. Good for you!❤🖤 Loved the show in Oberhausen, we travelled from Sweden to see you guys
Love you Joe!!!! Had the best time in Vancouver with you!
Nooooo! Actually today i was watching the combichrist hellfest 2019 art concert and wondering where was that sick soab behind the drums and now... :'(.
So grateful to have seen you in Argentina...Twice! Thanks for all that beautiful madness and Staystrong!
I saw you play once, and honestly it was fun watching you. I hope you do well in your future endeavors.
I totally respect this
ok....it's clear...yo're sober and we don't need sober people among Combi !!!...HAHAHAHAHA....I'M KIDDING...love you Joe and good luck for the future ;)
I am so happy you are sober and you have found the love of your life. Life is good. Love you bring your cats everywhere...🤟❤❤❤🤟
Joe is the main reason I fell inlove with Combi
I loved Combichrist with Joe, but now I also love Combichrist with Dane and Will, and if Joe wouldn't join Aesthetic Perfection, maybe I wouldn't find that band. So now
after the separation I just have two bands to love, and I saw both bands live last year, and both were crazy. :)
Yeah, AP are a great live act too. All three of them have played shows as members of Combichrist too (Daniel only once), and Elliott is legendary
@@jramaye5476 Yeah they are great, it was the last good concert for me before f*cking Covid started. So it was unforgettable. :)
I was this close to Daniel:

I saw Joe with AP in El Paso Awesome show Joe is an amazing man Loved him with Combichrist and now with AP Do your thing Joe Rock on 🤘🤘🤘🙌🙌🙌🌒🌑🌘
I was lucky two see him twice in st.Louis and twice as openers for rammstein in Chicago, great showmanship!
As sad as I am that I didn’t experience combichrist with Joey, I’m glad that he’s happier now wherever he is
Combichrist without Joe's crazyness...that's no more Combichrist anymore to me. They fuckin rocked and they gave me a lot of fun in my life. Thank you Joe for what you inspired. Your music will never die, and ppl won't forget you even if you've never met them.
You're a good man Joe.
Welcome to my world... but being the drunk idiot amongst sober friends... it went so wrong and couldn't be explained or saved. I miss all you guys. So much. It was absolutely epic times and I thank you for hooking me up, and Andy for taking me along for some of the most amazing times of my life, and some of the direst heartbreaking times too
Love and praise you anyway...
Hmmm, Slipknot is looking for a new percussionist... :)
Yessssssss
So they can treat him like shit too lol
No fuck slipknot they got rid of Joey for absolutely no reason
@@UglyBoy9996 you don’t know anything.
do your thing and no one can stop you
Yeee he on that aa talk
Is Joe going to 16-Volt?????
You know...
Was he the drummer?
Yes
Yes for 13 years !!!!!
So sad that he left the band. I liked Joe in Combichrist most of all. I respect him and only thing I can do is to wish him good luck.
Let's be real, Combichrist sold out in a big big way. Love their older stuff tho. And Aesthetic Perfection is great
Funny how all that happened when Letz was around.
Combi haven't released a good album since Making Monsters. Ya made the right choice
it's so sad that they changed their sound.... and i can't understand that Andy did this to his greatest and sucsessfull Project. In the past he startet new projects to try new styles/sounds, why not at this massive change..?
Yeah... to join a band (Aesthetic Perfection) that has made only one great album - "Violent Emotions".
OOF!!!
@@Headhunter24270 And you do not mind the fact that before they made such music as rhythmic noise? Their style and sound changed over the years and they always tried something new, as now.
So stop whining already! Not gonna lie, I miss those good days myself but at least they still leave their aggressive atmosphere as they should.
And if one day they want to go back to their (EBM) roots, they will.
Until then, either settle for what you have or move on, unfortunately, but the music industry doesn't always revolve around you.
People leave bands/relationships every day....life goes on....get over it.....
Bottom line is, Combichrist (Andy) should have stuck as a solo industrial dj instead of making it a "band"...Mr. Letz is an amazing drummer, but live industrial acts have no need for it.
