As a man who grew up staying as far away from religion as I could, I have so much love and respect for the way Dizzy is so close to his faith and shows it so passionately. He's so talented and this song is just amazing. Gives me chills bro.

See, I'm the opposite of you in this regard. I grew up in the conservative Christian church. While I haven't walked away from my faith. I have become far more critical and upset with the way that Christians have been acting. Especially the ones similar to who I grew up around.
Because of this, I am usually not well received in most Christian circles. Essentially deemed as "misguided" or "to liberal." Yet, all I care about is following Jesus. Doing what I can to care for everyone I meet. The closest parrel to this that I can give, is how Deku wants to be like All Might from My Hero Academia. Or more aptly, how All Might wants to be like his teacher. Upholding the legacy they caried.
It was because of my love of this series is how I originally stumbled across DizzyEight's work. Specifically his song for All Might.
What he crafted in that piece was real. Both earnest and grounded in the approach of the character. Something other artist had overlooked. As they tended to focus on the characters raw strength and status in the story.
With that said. When I found out about Dizzy's work based off his faith. I heard that same authenticity in those words, as I heard in his other songs.
This is why I love Dizzy's work. He is going to be real and authentic with those who listen. Whether that is songs about awesome characters, or about his faith. As for me, it why I love his songs about his faith, far more than most contemporary Christian music. Because he helps me realize I am not alone. 😁
