Berserk (Japanese: ベルセルク, Hepburn: Beruseruku) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Kentaro Miura. Set in a medieval Europe-inspired dark fantasy world, the story centers on the characters of Guts, a lone swordsman, and Griffith, the leader of a mercenary band called the "Band of the Hawk". Miura premiered a prototype of Berserk in 1988. The series began the following year in the Hakusensha's now-defunct magazine Monthly Animal House, which was replaced in 1992 by the semimonthly magazine Young Animal, where Berserk has continued its publication. Following Miura's death in May 2021, the final chapter that he wrote and illustrated was published posthumously in September of the same year; the series resumed in June 2022, under supervision of Miura's fellow manga artist and childhood friend Kouji Mori [ja] and Miura's group of assistants and apprentices from Studio Gaga.
Guts, renowned as the "Black Swordsman", is a former mercenary and branded wanderer who travels the world in a constant internal struggle between pursuing his own ends and upholding his attachments to those dear to him. - Hudba

This song is like an eclipse of emotions, and I can relate to this so much. Blindly loving someone is what hurts when you're betrayed. Then being stabbed in the back by the ones you loved hurts, but the pain is what changed us. Times may get rough, and we'll see so much betrayal, so much loss, so much blood from all of those you've hurt. Just know that things get better even if takes you going through pain. Whatever happens, happens, we're going to carry the weight of all of what we know.

I like all the nerdcore songs about Guts however, I really do appreciate the ones that really highlight the relationship between him and Griffith. A camaraderie that you thought was so defined now became heartbreaking, frustrating, and wounding.

Bruh this song hits so much and I feel like I can really relate to this. We have all had those friends that you would do anything for. That friend who you would always have their back and it would seem like you two are invincible. However, the same friends that you would take the bullet for, is often the ones who would pull the trigger. Guts was born into a living nightmare and when he finally found someone to fight for and that he has a family, that same man that he would cut armies down to protect switched up on him, murked his whole family, and plunged him back into an even worse nightmare
