These days learning your lines is one of the biggest mistake you can make. The skits get rewritten still the last second. Its the trick not to make it look like you are reading from the cue card :)

She’s part of the Barrymore dynasty. It would’ve happened sooner or later 😢 but she had her first drink around 8 years old at a party - Champagne given to her by an adult. Which caused her to pass out.

@@roxannehoff2889 had nothing to do with Jaid. Drew hid her addictions from her, she had no idea what Drew was doing. Drinking started at age 8 at a party when Drew dared a couple of adults that she could down two glasses of champagne. She did it but threw up and passed out

They used to play them on cable.
@@kjk7611a few seasons they'd run a rerun then follow with the 11:30 taping live, then again they do live at 11:30 then a rerun at 1:00am. They'd do it here and there. Occasionally I'd binge for 3 hours.

@@roxannehoff2889they've been down on the farm too long: Lorraine Newman, Mary Gross, Nora Dunn, Julia Dreyfuss I watched every episode of this season. Really underrated comedy team, I was 23yrs old and I'd watch with my Mom who was 59yrs old, good clean comedy, no profanity, oversexualized hype, just funny. These actors don't get the credit they deserve.
This was one of the worst seasons SNL ever had.
So noone is realizing a CHILD is on a grown adult late night show and whyyyy is steven Spielberg in a bathrobe saying shes cute.

That came later, at about 9 or 10 years old
She started drinking at 8. The more they allowed her into clubs, the more she stole drinks or asked for them off adults. She would pass out and wake up a few hours later some nights

This was the second wave of SNL, it wasn't easy to follow behind the Original Not Ready For Prime Time Players: John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, Gilda Radner, Garrett Morris, Bill Murray but they did very well I think
And to add more of a creep factor, many of the people at the time didn’t even know she was doing JUST THAT!!!
