honestly the red color ties in so well with all of the heirloom recolors we’ve had (wraith, rev, bout to be Blood’s) so this could be very likely to be true

My guess is that maybe Octane will avenge his father by defeating Revenant behind Lifeline's and everyone's back and after that he might lead the Apex Games too after his grandfather (so the Octane announcer voices from the Post Malone event will be reused in pubs too when that happens?)
Octane beating Rev and running the apex games is a bit of a reach, but with how many times Rev fumbles, I guess it could happen?

What i appreciate from Duardo's voice actor was when he was screaming he was yelling in spanish. Like he dropped the english accent to his natural one, love that detail

I'm assuming the red stim is the stuff that Torres (Octane's grandfather) used to extend his life past 100 years. It was mentioned in Season 12's story 'comics' by Torres, and whilst the colour wasn't specified by him, it is likely.

When the perk system comes out maybe there will be a perk which makes the stem pink and boosts damage instead, or maybe some way to switch between damage and speed stems
(Edit): or maybe the recolor heirloom will make the stems pink or something

I dont think duardo is dead. when they hear the explosion of everyone busting in for a brief second the camera cuts to duardo stimming himself. and he has always said that octane wastes it by using it as a speed drug that his stim is way more than that. so i think he was prepared to be betrayed by rev.
Yeah I do agree it’s possible durado comes back a few seasons later. However none of that changes that octane BELIEVES he just watched revenant kill him, so the octane lore doesn’t change

Now that you mentioned that, maybe Octane gets a small buff where he could use his stim to get himself up when downed like "adrenaline shot". That would be dope but it would probably be best to limit it to like 1 shot per game

You know how Torres (Duardo) was working on something to bring back his dead son (the actual Duardo)? Like mentioned in the little cinematic they had with him and Ballistic. Maybe the red stim is tied to that, and Octane will try to find a way to bring either one of them back

i hope they dont do another cliché revenge story 😭 i dont think itd work well with octane or his personality. trauma can change a person but it doesnt need to change their whole outlook or meaning on life especially ingame or even irl. plus octane has support like seer and lifeline to help him with the loss.

Nah I hope he stays death. I think Duardos story got a bit boring and it felt like the other character lores like caustic, Mirage, Pathfinder, Horizon and Ash were forgot. And I also hope that since Duardo is death that Blisk will return because I miss him.

To be honest, this scene was kinda weird. There should be blood all over the place. Isn't there always text saying blood and violence. These scenes should be much darker and brutal. Even season 4 cinematic was more brutal.
