MONTEREY BAY FISHING IN THE SURF SUMMER TIME STRIPED BASS

You've had tremendous success catching stripers this year; with a few surf perch! Do you think stripers do or are displacing surf perch? You mostly fish in the Monterey area which may have more stripers??

To be honest I haven’t targeted surf perch much this year. Me and my fishing partner were actually having this discussion earlier today because usually we catch barred by accident every now and then throwing these lures but this year I haven’t. I fish the coast line from Monterey up to half moon bay and every thing in between I haven’t targeted the barred because the striper are more fun lol . Thanks for watching brother 👍🏽🎣💯tight lines
