I was originally going to upload this video the day after I uploaded the mini green ATV in the snow video, but my computer crashed for the last time and it took me a while to get a new computer.
rather B welding put your choke on just barely and it will solve your problem mine kept doing it too

Gonna shoot straight your right side Trans. chain was definitely flopping around heavily. Also carbs need rejetted for the cold weather due to the changed gasoline blends available at the gas stations (winter blend vs summer blend) and the lower temperatures reducing the fuel vaporization/atomization rates. This can be checked by leaving the choke slightly on if it runs better then it needs rejetted if not you may be looking at a water in the fuel issue and remember don't use a fuel blend with ethanol/methanol on engines with carbs.
I had to disconnect the low oil sensor on my cart with the 212 because it would die when I did donuts.

The running problem looked a lot like carb icing to me. When the fuel get's aerosolized by the carb and evaporates the temperature in there drops well below freezing (Same process that makes a gas cylinder full of any liquidised gas ice up on the outside when emptied reasonably quickly) and any moisture from the air or water contamination in the fuel starts to build up as ice in the jets.
Once the engine stalls the carb isn't getting chilled by the state change of the fuel anymore and due to the carb being bolted to a hot engine, The sudden rise in temperature promptly melts the ice out of the jet.
Easiest way around it is to make an airbox to go around the air filter and feed it warmer air from near the exhaust pipe or cylinder head (If you could make a sleeve to go around the exhaust that would allow the air to heat up a bit more before syphoning it off to the carb then all the better) This is what used to be done on most carbureted cars back before fuel injection took over and negated the issue. If you're running the engine when it's seriously cold outside you fit the airbox to pull hot air, Then when the weather heats up again you remove it to get cooler/denser air.
I know i said it in the last video and i realize they were the same day. But i hope you wear a helmet next time. That kart is pretty fast and with the swerving, well we just rather not see you get hurt or worse. Also glad to see you got your computer fixed.

Snowblower engines have shrouds that keep exhaust heat around the carburetor to prevent the stalling.
Could need a needle adjustment. You could be running just little too lean. The air is denser in the cold.
hi i believe the reason the motor did not like the cold is because the carbureter could not vaporise the fuel efectivly. i think that is why they heat the carb/throttle butterfly in cars but i am no mechanic

I love the camera mounted on the rear left but it needs to be much higher off the ground for a more commanding View also it would be out of the way of the snow coming off the rear tire

bad ass video don't need a quad when you have a off road go kart we have a 1988 Honda 200s three Wheeler I ride a 1994 manco dingo buggy 8hp Briggs Stratton our 11 year old son rides a 1996 polaris trail boss 250 my wife rides and the manco dingo buggy is just as much fun as the three Wheeler and quad and it goes every where a quad and three Wheeler go and it is a blast in the snow

PS: maybe all that swerving you did was mess with the float in the carb???
It needs carb work because you didn't seal the tank and your running it without a filter. If you'd listen and spent the $8 I told you to on the filter and fuel pump, you'd have that thing going.
josh bishop rbw has a filter on it and jet kit and wht do you mean seal the tank?
rupproadster187 he removed it on the dune buggy, the tank he built has been putting trash in the carbs ever since. He needs a filter and needs to use Red-Kote on all the tanks he's built.
