- This is a quality cooked breakfast at the breakout cafe - yay! The Breakout Cafe in Caledonian Rd London. Proper quality sausages are off the charts and the bubble is absolutely amazing. Wait, the whole plate was amazing. What an absolute treat. To finish off the London vlog I visited The Arsenal Emirates Stadium. Love the walks again - showing the areas I eat in in this wonderful city I call home.

I used to go to Highbury in the late 70's as my dad was born in Hackney then lived for 2 years in Stoke Newington before my grandparents moved back to Wales. Rugby been my game since I was 11. Remember the days of Liam Brady though 😊

It’s interesting the “evolution” of “bubble” in that traditionally it was made from leftover veggies and potatoes but now it’s certainly not made from leftovers as it’s an important part of a fry up.

I went there this morning - definitely worth travelling to visit.
sausages and bacon were very high quality, well cooked. poached eggs done perfectly. fried bread wasn't too greasy, didn't overload the beans which so often happens lol
they kindly tried to guide me towards the better value set breakfasts, but I put together a large breakfast (some is in my fridge!). was a few quid but worth every penny and the set breakfasts are very reasonable, given the quality. definitely go there.
forgot to say, bubble was cabbage-heavy and one of the best I've ever had, easily.

Well done Darren success comes to those who wait unusually I spotted editing error you broke into the eggs then two minutes later your eggs were intact before you devoured the bubble. I never realised bubble was dry fried I always thought a knob of butter put in pan first. What happened to arsenal's old ground Highbury is there much distance between the old & new ground.

Went to Highbury a few times in the past but never been to the Emirates, I suppose you could say Arsenal are my sort of second club if you could have one, loved that team of the mid 70's and early 80's, Liam Brady is one of my favourite players of all time. 👍

Smoked bacon is fancier than plain . I prefer it myself but I do think cafes should give you the choice as it would be just as easy for them to cook both kinds !

I always stay around Finsbury park, can't really fault any place there bar one but this cafe really looks good, thanks again....as someone who flys over from Ireland regular for games I'll definitely be going here

Love your point about the smoked Bacon and Sausage; After I have cured my Bacon, I cold smoke it for 60hrs before slicing and cooking and the Sausage for a good few hours; ramping up the temp. as it cooks before cooling down.
But! This is not for everyone and that is what is wonderful about food; We can make it how we like it and share that with others!!!

I love butchers sausage especially if they have natural casings, love the snap and crispness. Back on it DJ, cannot beat a good fry up, they say it’s not healthy but it make you feel good and puts a smile on your face that lasts a day. Just go for a good walk after and remove the guilt. Great videos, food looks amazing and the vibe of the content is great.
