Why is that good? It just means it uses more power than usual.

@@Zwettekop that’s true, but only for the same power range. If this thing is power hungry, that fan isn’t going to be quiet. There’s a good chance it’s there out of necessity.
@@float32 The fan has almost a Noctua blade design so this gpu will definitely be hotter so this had to be implemented to make temperatures more normal, I think I prefer that rather than making the cards very thick especially for itx builds.

As much as I don't want any of the modern types of Smart glasses, I would love to see the technology to continue to improve to the point where I do want to use them. Right now, though, the use cases are just so limited.

they should leverage components that they already have an build a game console with Steam on it, but replace Steam's Arch Linux with Clear Linux that they made themselves. How noone at Intel came to this idea is beyond me. Clear Linux itself would give them additional 4-30% of additional performance.

I've seen a vid that if you cut off the top layer of your screen you can put that on your regular glasses and it makes the screen pure white unless using the glasses with the pixel filter on it. Sounds just the same as what this company is trying to do
Polarizer layer. Which means anyone with polarized glasses can see your screen too
I'm not saying there's no buyer but if Intel is shopping AXG, or will in the future, who are the likely bidders? AMD? Nvidia? ARM? Qualcomm? Private equity?

They're ok. Needs a phone to set up, and is a battery hog on said phone. Better off as a display, but sucks in practice because it doesn't follow an angle and the display stays always in front of your face without the software.

The silver shroud is flat instead of rounded like the 3090, the font is literally identical as the one on nvidias website now.
It is leaked by the same person who said nvidia was doubling fp32 6 months before nvidia said so and noone believed them then but it was true.
