I obviously love everything John Williams but Duel of Fates is by far my favorite Star Wars piece.
The lyrics that John Williams wrote for this were actually based on the old Welsh poem Cad Goddeu but then translated into Sanskrit because he liked the "beautiful sounds" of that language. They seem very fitting for the theme of a Sith Lord.

If you want to listen to some TV music to compare, two of my favorites are Bear McCreary's work on Battlestar Galactica (in particular "Kobol's Last Gleaming" and "Passacaglia") and Murray Gold's's work on Doctor Who (in particular "I Am the Doctor" and "Goodbye Pond").

There is a Star Wars concert with the school of saber fighting where they have a light saber duel on stage with music from Star Wars. It’s a fun piece.
As usual, I always appreciate your enhancement of a musical experience. Your recent reviews of performances by DNSO have been very insightful and enjoyable. As I am sure other have suggested, though, please don't overlook their outstanding performance of "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" featuring singers Tuva Semmingsen and Christine Nonbo Andersen. I think your reaction would be epic.

John Williams' "Duel of the Fates" is one of four film music pieces that really stand out to me which uses a choir to "sing" nonsense words. Another is Basil Poledouris' "Riders of Doom" from "Conan the Barbarian". The remaining two are both from "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" - the main theme and "The Ecstasy of Gold". It's all about the drama and the mood. Voice is another instrument in the piece.
In a similar vein, Hans Zimmer and Lisa Gerrard [of Dead Can Dance] do something similar in "Now We Are Free" from "Gladiator". The latter sings in an invented language unique to her.
They're not nonsense words but are actually in Sanskrit.

@@aruak321, upon looking into it further, apparently Williams based the lyrics on a Welsh poem and translated it into Sanskrit. An interesting approach to be sure.

Ever since my orchestral days in high school, I've always had a soft spot for the role of a chorus. Sometimes the song is recognizable but often it is obscured to the general audience either by translation to another language (Welsh to Sanskrit in this case), turned into nonsense (as in the main theme to Batman: Mask of the Phantasm which used the names of the production crew and the musical team backwards), or based on nonsense words (as with the works of Yuki Kajiura who created a set of phonetics for some of the vocals).

In a piece like this the chorus is used like another section of the orchestra. The meaning of the words are not as important as the sound that adds color. I play viola and I have played this. The ostinato is killer for the violas. It has been 4 years since I played it and I had sympatric pain listening to it and seeing the closeups of the section.
I agree with you on the comments that film music is the new classical. I love playing the classical pieces but I get excited playing film music such as Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and any score by John Williams and Han Zimmer.
During the silent movie era they would play an organ or piano while the movie was being shown.
This music is darker and creepier than this scene in the movie!
