One of the greatest westerns ever made with music to match it
Damn straight, one of my favorite movies!!!
Agreed. Every American should watch the movie at least once a year.
She should react to Harmonica Man.
These spaghetti westerns were works of art
@@DiedrichKnickerbocker1783 From Once Upon A Time in The West, another Sergio Leone western.
If you never seen the Good Bad and the Ugly with Clint Eastwood part of what people called spaghetti westerns. Take a 2 hour break get your popcorn and watch it. GBU was the last of the trilogy the first was a "Fist full of dollars" 2nd was "for a few dollars More" then the last was "The Good the Bad and the Ugly.
3 hour
Agreed. I don't think India has seen any of them. Of course she should start with "Fistfull of Dollars," then "For a Few Dollars More" before she watches "The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly." But, yes, she should watch all three.
Do you hear us, girl? You've got to watch those movies. They were made before anyone ever heard of Dirty Harry. Actually the story of how they were made is (to me) just as interesting.
Actually it is a paella western.
Brent Lee actually, almost 3 hours
And finish off with *once upon a time in the west* which is just as good as GBU.
Eli Wallac should have got an oscar for his portrayal of Tuco thee Mexican bandit the best ever.
Hey blondie
I adore Eli Wallach ---I have seen Baby Doll about a dozen times and the GBU at least that many times
He was absolutely delightful in that role. You couldn't help smiling.
There are two kinds of spurs my friend!
Mr. Wallace's performance, by the way, inspired the name of the first baddie in the A-Team movie.
It's an old tradition in Denmark to hang the previous conductor whenever a new one takes over.
Yup!
For real ?
lol... nice nod to the movie with the dummy hanging..lynched lol
guess it is meant as self irony from the orchestra, they were so impossible that conductor killed him self.
:))
Morricone. One of the greatest movie composers ever.
The greatest !
@@sergiosabor2455 The choice of very particular instruments, to create his masterpieces, to create a special atmosphere in the various scenes of the films that, we have to say, they have become very famous in the world thanks to his wonderful compositions , makes Morricone unique in its kind. His compositions are the result of a brilliant mind ! He was and will remain the only one ! One word…..a genius !
The extasy of gold: one of the best pieces of music ever composed and one of the best scenes in movie history ...
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻 i agree
Definitely 😎
Yep
This ^ 100% x 100000000000000000000000
The ectsatcy of gold and the final showdown is cinematic genius. Nothing can match the way the music and cinemagraphy builds the tension.
I've got three words for you: Watch the movie!
Plus the other two in the trilogy and Once Upon a Time in the West.
Wonko The Sane talent here baby, these people are amazing, another world for a lot of people including me!!the music playing when the soldiers were playing and the fiddler was crying was just the Best😛😛
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Sounds like a deep thought.
When you have to shoot, shoot don't talk. Greatest line in a movie ever
Also "When the rope gets tight, you can feel the devil bite your @$$" lol
@@here4thecomments928 "Blondie! You know what you are? Just the greatest son of a biiiiiiiiiiiii--"
"The Good The Bad And the Ugly" is the most American movie ever. It's an Italian film starring a Jewish actor playing a Mexican bandit in the Old West.
Red Scorpion 6 and if I am not mistaken filmed in Spain.
You have to eat a plate of spaghetti when you watch it.
It was the movie that launched to the stardom Clint Eastwood.
Roger Bellido nope... "A fistful of Dollars" already launched Eastwood ...;)

Ennio morrcione the best that ever lived genius 🙏👍💞🔥🔥💯
Still with us (Nov 2019) Age 90
@@pipe2devnull i know he toured 2 or 3 years ago. I did not go to his concert and that may have been the last time you'll get to see him conduct live.
Dragged my butt to see him in London in 2016. Best decision I made that year.
Saw him in Stockholm 3 years back and it was amazing. Best concert ever.
Mary Goodwin You likes 69. Sorry let me rephrase that, you have 69 likes. Not gonna change it.. xx 😊
They "The Danish National Symphony Orchestra" have done a lot of movie music. And they make it a pride to do it as close to the original as possible.
Their Bladerunner suite was amazing.
I will say even better
Yesterday, the componist of this song has died. Rip Ennio Morricone. A great composer melting sound with vision.
Just think. Someone conceived all of this into a composition in their mind. Amazing.
And let's please name him: Ennio Morricone.
@@Greyhound53200 A genius composer.
@@Greyhound53200 He made these westerns..... you still hear these songs today... unfortunately in silly car ads or something, but still. Those westerns would not have been great without that music.
@@joshhencik1849 Sergio Leone 'made' (directed) them. But I agree; without Morricone's music these westerns would have been long forgotten.
Ennio Morricone is a master in his field
It takes Vikings singing a theme tune written by a European for a Western filmed in the Ballearics to create a quintessentially American image. Amazing on all fronts. Great choice thank you.
"It takes Vikings singing a theme tune written by a European"... Uhm i get the run of this comment, but us here in Denmark, is European too.. It's a little while ago we were vikings ;)

Ennio Morricone, the original composer, was unique in that he treated the chorus as another instrument.
That really is incredible when you hear the original. Virtually identical.
No,Isaidposse This is actually better.
@@williamsimmons152 Not quite the ability of Edda Dell'Orso.
This demonstrates how a great soundtrack can help immerse you in a movie. After this you were ready for what comes next.
Ennio Morricone is why I love 'Spagetti' westerns - the sound tracks...

Sad news, he died today/yesterday (time zones).
Wat the ell, Morena, you didn't need to sout...I'm Scottis, so more familiar wit aggis, than pastas. 😉
Ennio Morricone wrote this music and much more. His sound track for "Once Upon a Time in the West" is phenomenal. Definitely worth a listen. (I think the DNSO may have a video of that too.)
The majesty that is Ennio Morricone, performed VERY well is always glorious
Easily on my top 10 favorite movies. And the music is brilliant. Ennio Morricone is a genius. Listen to some other of his music.
watch the movie it was made in the late sixties EVERY BODY LOVED ENNIO MORRICONI
Ennio Morricone
It came out in '66.
Morricone had no use for Clint Eastwood. But Clint spoke very highly of Ennio, regardless.
It never ceases to amaze me how music can touch a person's soul.
This was so beautiful it brought tears to my eyes. I have both the record and the CD of this but haven't listened to it in years. Thanks for the memories.
I saw the film on late-night TV in 1995 ...and I went out and bought the soundtrack right away.
I loved this! It amazing how many different the tract requires! Also I'm a Clint Eastwood man!!!
Love Ennio Morricone's stuff. The Ecstacy of Gold was the switch-up.
To me, full orchestras are like magic. So many people in perfect synchronization. Full complete cooperation.
If you watch the movie, the hanging person makes more sense.
Nancy Galassini yes it does.
Totally
Definitely! So... damn it, do it. Watch those movies. Awesome!
"Sorry about that Shorty"
Time to get the popcorn and watch the best spaghetti western EVER!
They nailed the soundtrack of the greatest western ever made. Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach, and Angel Eyes, Lee Van Cleef. If you have not seen it, it is a must see for anyone who loves films.
This video always make me cry, the musicianship and the true love for the music these artist show touches my soul. This is a great service that CZcams provides, making this kind of performance available for everyone to enjoy. I sometimes feel that pretty soon this will be the only place that people will be able to see a group of people playing actual instruments that don't require a USB port or digital enhancement.
India, not many folks do reactions to live Orchestra's and I'm so glad you did......beautiful
W0W! What a ride! Thank you for sharing this gem! Thanks to the person who requested it too! Cool as all get out!
Watch the movie: "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly" A magnificent western. It will also explain the "hanging man" decoration.
I see Lee Van Cleef, that little smirking smile.
"When two hunters go after the same prey, they usually end up shooting each other in the back. And we don't want to shoot each other in the back."
" When you have to shoot, shoot, don´t talk"......Tuco Benedicto Pacífico, Juan María Ramirez.
RIP TUCO
This is awesome
You have to see the movie!!
Dollars Trilogy... A Fistful of Dollars (1964), For a Few Dollars More (1965) and The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)..... and Once Upon a Time in the West (1968).... Are very good movies, must be seen.
Brilliant great memories of my childhood growing up with 3 brothers 👍
Yes the man with no name
They're not "very good" movies, they're EPIC movies...
Don't forget to add "Hang Em High". The theme song from that movie was a top 40 hit for Booker T. and the MGs.
All good. Once Upon a Time in the West. Henry Fonda as a bad guy - awesome. Claudia Cardinale - makes me think things.
Real musicians ...real talent....ain't it a mind blower?
Ennio Morricone was a genius. I am so sad he's no longer with us.
Those Sergio Leone movies are one of the few things that make me proud of being italian , these days! And Morricone music is another.
From the classic Clint Eastwood western The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, and they NAILED IT! If u haven't seen that western India, you really should! Very cool of you to do this!
Tuva Semmingsen, actually likes being known as the Wa Wa Lady, and can't believe how this performance took off on youtube. Christine Nonbo Andersen was seated in the audience to help draw them into the music, and this was her first performance with DNO. This was the finest tribute to the late composer Ennio Morricone, that any orchestra could do.
Brilliant score, brilliant movie. Just breath-taking. The final scene never fails to give me chills.
I believe this film soundtrack album reached #2 in the billboard album chart 1968. Two years after the film version album reached #4. The '68 version was Hugo Montenegro and his orchestra.
Sounds exactly like the Movie, amazing.
The mighty Morricone! The maestro..
Orchestral work at its finest! Loved playing trumpet in the Symphony Orchestra at Iowa!

Ennio Morricone, maestro, genio inmortal , que serían tantas películas sin sus obras, como, the misión, cinema paradiso, once a time in américa, the bad the good and the ugly, entre tantas otras obras maestras musicalizadas por el.
The ecstacy of gold, todo un orgasmo musical y espiritual.
