Ennio Morricone's music makes this movie stand out as the best western ever made. The music is incredibly realistic in depicting the lawless west since all sounds in the music portray a true aspect in that era such as fear of death, apprehension, and the sound of whipping, which makes this composition an epic representation of life in that period. Chod, do yourself a huge favor and watch The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, followed by Once Upon a Time in the West (not in one sitting though) - the two greatest westerns of all time, both scored by Italy's greatest modern composer, the late Ennio Morricone.

Hey bro, greetings from the UK 🇬🇧 I’ve watched this dozens and dozens of times on my own and love it, I’ve also watched countless reaction videos to it too and yours is BY FAR the best, thank you for watching first, speaking second. It is the best and only way to it in my opinion, by doing it this way you’re allowing the content to breathe, there are so many so called ‘professional’ musicians/singers/voice coaches doing reaction videos and they stop/start and they’re so far up their own asses having to micro examine everything every few seconds that it completely destroys any enjoyment for the viewer. I stumbled on a new reaction CZcamsr yesterday and I tried two of her reactions and I had to switch off, I figure if she did a reaction to this it would take 90 minutes lol. Loved this bro, keep up the good work! 🇬🇧🇺🇸

Yes, we all need a soundtrack playing in the background of our lives. Speaking of orchestras, the 1960s gave us a mix of a lot of different types of music on the top 40 charts. There was almost always at least one or two instrumentals on the charts each week. One of the biggest was a number one hit in 1968 called “Love is Blue,” by Paul Mauriat and his Orchestra. There is a fabulous video of him and his orchestra performing it live on CZcams. Definitely worth a listen, and I think you’d be the first reactor to do a reaction video to it. It is a beautiful song.

This is the soundtrack for my favorite western. It’s about a treasure hunt, and the struggle between a bounty hunter, an assassin and a robber. The Good the Bad and the Ugly. It begins with an assassination and a hanging... sort of. You should watch it.

Comcummate professionals. I like that you have the big screen for the performer unlike many who make it all about their face. This was also an excellent video of this performance with very little promo coming in at the end and to see it on a big screen there is so much detail to watch.

The second piece, beginning at 4:20, is called "Ecstasy of Gold" and is heard in the film when Tuco (Eli Wallach) is racing through the cemetery looking for the grave marker where the gold is supposed to be buried. I think the passage at 6:08 is exquisite.
I would strongly recommend this symphonic performance of Jerry Goldsmith's original end credits music for ALIEN. Much of Goldsmith's music for that movie went unused by director Ridley Scott including this amazing piece, which is played beautifully in this video: czcams.com/video/30xk2Q1SuKA/video.html

One question, did this performance make you want to see the movie ? From the get go you seemed completely mesmerized but I was the same way first time I saw this orchestra. I've seen everything they offer on Utube over and over. If I was to ever get the opportunity to see them live, I don't think my heart could stand it.
With regard to your query if others out here think about musical backgrounds and everyday life interfacing, yes... especially when I driving by myself on some isolated curvy backroad and in my head all I can hear is the James Bond theme. However I recall living my childhood to the classical selections I picked up every Saturday morning from the Warner Brothers cartoons.

We are very proud of our symphony orchestra, and these special themed concerts are something I, for one, do not mind that my tax money is spent on. (Yes, the DNSO is 100% state funded, through our national broadcaster.)
Unless it's postponed again, I'll actually be seeing them live in August, for their "Galaxymphony Strikes Back" concert.

Ennio Morricone also did the score from Once Upon A Time In The West. It's called "Your Love". You should check out the two versions of it in one video; the hummed version from the movie by Edda Dell'Orso and then the vocal version by then 14 or 15 year old Jackie Evancho. A breathtaking piece of music.
